DREAM: April 4-7 2013

Looks like no one else is signed on for this cruise yet, so I guess I'll start up this Cruise Meet! Who will be joining me on April 4th-7th 2013 on the Dream? I was hoping for a longer cruise, but this was the only one that fit within my son's Spring Break schedule. DS (age 9) and I will be in one cabin with my parents in the cabin next door. As my siggy states, we're leaving the twin toddlers with Daddy and going on vacation! (ps-don't feel bad for Daddy, he's a cruise hater and won't go with us!).

Testing to see if we're cruisers or not on this 3 day cruise! Excited and nervous at the same time. Will be my wife and 2 kids--2 and 5, as well as my mother and father in law.

DH is glad this is a short cruise as he also likes the idea of DS "testing it out" to see if he likes cruising or not. I LOVE cruising, so I hope all three of my kids do too. I already told DH that I will be planning more cruises without him! He thinks that because he hates cruising, DS will too. Time will tell....

We are also joining this cruise with DH, DD18 and DS3. It's our first cruise and first visit to Orlando. Have a week at WDW after the cruise. Can't wait.

So glad to see more people joining this thread! I've just paid off this cruise and it's KILLING me to keep it a secret from my son. He just turned 3 and is really starting to "get" and understand going on trips especially to Disney. I cannot wait!

moore523 - there is a separate area to sign up for FE, but I'm not quite sure where that is. I won't be participating in that as I don't have the time right now to put into the gifts. I think the FE idea is very cute though! Maybe I'll try it on my next cruise when my kids are older.

KristEn87 - I'm looking forward to 3, my 2yo twins are in an "interesting" stage right now and I can't wait until they can communicate more and throw less tantrums! Can't wait to bring them to WDW and on their first cruise, but that's a couple years away for sure.

Newbies - lots of first time cruisers on this cruise, that's great! I'm gad more people are signing in, I wonder how full this sailing will be.

Anyone booking any excursions? DS wants to try parasailing, but I have my doubts on whether he'll actually follow through once on the boat. If I can very a refund if he chickens out then I'll book this for Castaway Cay Day!

Hello fellow sailors! My family group will be sailing with you, filling three cabins. I'm bringing three of my adult children (two with wives) and one 10 month old grandchild. My daughter and I are frequent cruisers but this will be a first cruise for the other 5. I had to get them started right on Disney!!

I'd love to know, as well! I noticed on some of the other threads for other cruises--they are doing it on this post?? Perhaps we need to start one?

Anyone know how to start the fish extender? Anyone want to participate? I think all we have to do is exchange room numbers closer to the date and find out how many want to participate so we know how many items to bring. From other posts, it seems they cut off participation a couple of weeks before cruising so that numbers ate known. I'm all in!!

Hello all! This will be the first Disney cruise for me and my family (sons 11 and 6 and husband). I have some questions that will make you question my on-line experience. What is DS, DD, DH etc. Dependent? Darling? Also, what is fish extender? I am really looking forward the the trip.

We are excited for our first Disney Cruise on the Dream April 4. My hope too is that my DH, DS9 and DD7 will fall in love with cruising and we can start to do this more! Any ideas for a first time Disney cruising family? Also have another room of relatives (fam of 4) and a room for Grandma.
