Dream AP Freebie drink

This might sound a daft question but how do you claim your free drink when you dine at a table restaurant with your Dream AP?

Not sure if when you sit down you mention that you are a dream pass holder then and would like your free kir/orange juice or just order it as a drink and then have it taken off at the end of the bill?

We always tell them when we sit down and show our AP

I tend to order it when we order the other drinks - especially as I tend to order a soft drink as well.

I just ask for "a sprite and a kir for my annual pass please" or similar wording.
