Hi, I know I saw it on here at some point and I was curious if anyone had any more information.... I had read that during this upcoming dry dock, the dream will be adding concierge rooms to deck 10 (right now, its just 11 & 12 that are concierge). Is this true? Is it possible this isn't happening now...due to the COVID situation? I'm just curious to hear more because we're sailing concierge in November (hopefully!!) and I'm a bit worried that the concierge lounge will be slammed now if they are adding a bunch more rooms?

That would be the Magic adding the additional rooms, not the Dream :-)
There was also a rumour that Dream was expending the concierge zone to deck 10. However, it was never confirmed by DCL, unlike the Magic conversions. We learned on our recent Magic cruise that they are supposed to expand the lounge to make room for the extra guests.

I would presume any major overhaul will be put on hold for the time being.

DCL has not announced officially that they are adding more concierge staterooms to the Dream. A poster did report that they’d been told that rooms are going to be converted on Deck 10.

I bet they will at some point. Why wouldn't they? More money for them. Less rooms to go to VGT.

Hoo boy, I hope they have a LOT more cabanas at lighthouse point than they do on Castaway Cay then, because the Dream already has more concierge rooms than cabanas at CC.

I don't like the idea of Deck 10--all the rooms reviews report awful noise from the pool deck. Seems nuts to pay Concierge and wind up with a noisy room. I guess that is how they do it on the Wonder/Magic though.

I agree about the Cabanas for sure.

I think the rooms on 10 would be on if they were forward. Then they’d be under the spa or or the deck 11 concierge rooms. But we’ve definitely had friends stay on 10 who said that the deck noise was noticeable.

I'm glad to hear that. DCL definitely needs to increase the size of that lounge. It's almost too small for the number of Concierge rooms they have now.

If they add a bunch more concierge rooms, that's pretty much going to guarantee no cabanas on CC for non-concierge, even more so than it already is. It's also going to enrage a lot of concierge cruisers who pay the extra money on concierge for the sole purpose of being able to get a cabana on CC, my parents do this.
