These are the rooms for the two cruises I have planned. One if a 4 night Dream with DH and my DS at the end of March. One is a Fantasy Eastern with just DH and I mid-March 2017. I wanted a nice midship 4A for the three of us, but am really intrigued by that 8188 aft cabin for just the two of us. Anyone have experience with these rooms? I have looked at the DIS stateroom reports...guess I'm hungry for any information!

Have you tried looking here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/roomlist.cfm

A hint - just look for the room number, regardless of what ship it's actually listed under. Don't know why, but the way the put the reports in there, the same room numbers all wind up on the same page, regardless of the ship.

Yes, I looked at those. I have done all I can for the trips except pack (and I'm not going to start two months out!). I was just hoping to see some fresh information.

We've cruised 3 times with a 4th planned in march and have had 8188 every time. The verandah is awesome with extra space and being on the point of the back end. We also really like that the isn't much traffic in the hall - no reason to be down there for anyone else. And cabanas is just 3 decks up.

Have stayed in 8188 twice. Love the verandah! Only negative is the noise and substantial vibration upon docking in Port Canaveral on last day. Make sure your have taken all the hangers off the rack, separated all glass ware, closed safe door and bathroom doors or you will be up doing that around 4:30 or 5 am. The mornings we docked in Nassau and Castaway, we were already awake so not bothered. Also, if you have food out on your verandah on Nassau day, be prepared for aggressive sea gulls!

8188 is awesome. I wouldn't hesitate. Long walk to forward ship. We don't mind. Helps to work off the desserts and bread I gorge on. ☺️
