Dream 8/18-22 Fish Extender Group

Hi! the two FE groups I am part of: everything fish extenders and fish extender lovers. ask to join and be amazed by the ideas and talents. a fb site I just joined is Disney cruise meet facebook groups. once you join, you can add your cruise group (she will gladly help with the process) and then let people know here. our cruise in NOT listed yet. getting very excited now that summer is almost here! waiting for passports and once they are here, I can relax and obsess solely on FE's has anyone here decided on dressing up for the pirate party yet? we have pirate costumes we used last year at WDW Halloween party. torn between wanting to bring them and having to find room for another set of stuff.

Hers a question for the adults in the group - how do you feel about alcohol in gifts? I like the idea of mini bottles for gifts but I don't want to offend either!

we're fine with it. if someone wants to be sure not to get any, they could post here. good idea also if anyone has allergies or anything else.

We plan to dress up for the pirate party - probably just pirate shirts and dresses though. I don't think we'll do the big hats since it will take up too much luggage space

We would be fine with alcohol I like Lornaa's suggestion of having people let you know if there's a problem and also any food allergies.

Looks like we are all midship or aft cabins right now. Many of us are pretty close to the back of the ship, just on different floors. So far, pretty easy travel between cabins!

I hadn't thought about delivery yet Good way to burn off some calories that I so plan on eating. DD and I are going to be making our FE next week. we have the fabric and some basic directions, and she is willing to sew it together. I need to hunt down some Disney iron on decals. Has anyone thought about what shore trips they are taking (if any)? if available when we can book, we're trying the Atlantis waterpark for Nassau and kyle and I are doing the kayak/hike on CC and Lys is doing the teen one where they try a little of everything.

We want to do Atlantis Aquaventure for sure. Probably not planning anything for CC except renting snorkel equipment.

Hi. Sorry it has been a few weeks since I have check out the blog. I am fine with alcohol too. My youngest is allergic to bananas if that matters (probably doesn't).

I am so excited for the cruise -- and can't wait to start booking excursions and on-board events.

Hope we get a few more people. Have we figured out a cut off date yet? I want to order part of my adult gift but do not want to order too many or too few ....

Ok, teenagers stump me. Any thoughts on good FE things for the teens?

some ideas for teen girls (seen on FE sites): jewelry, nail stuff, wave holders, pins, hair stuff. teen boys (more difficult): pirate stuff, refillable mugs, my daughter's friends who are teen boys and cruise say "CANDY," key chains, mini flashlights. I find the only group that is more of a challenge then teen boys is dads but the same stuff could be used for both.

I haven't done this before, so any idea when we should consider our group "closed"? I'd like to start shopping soon! Maybe give it another week? Or should we be done now? Thoughts?

Also, is this the easiest way to keep in touch or would we like a Facebook group? I'm happy to set that up if we want one.

I'm getting SO excited for this cruise!! Can't wait!!

We are also first timers, so I don't know re: Palo or Remy. you could try the disboards on this topic, or go to Disney dining and see menus and reviews. I remember reading that a lot of people loved the brunch at Palo's (if I have the right one). Should we give it to the end of June?? I started making for the group we have and have the materials in case we grow. I don't know the difference with a FB page, but if you are willing, that would be very kind of you to do. the last of our passports arrived this week, so very relieved we are all getting on the ship booked our island activities, planned (roughly) what i'm wearing to dinners.... next big decision: do we get the shutters photo package??? $350 for all character/dining/ship photos. lots of people on FB sites say so worth it.
