So great! We have ours scheduled, but I forget which day - I think it's the Saturday before we go. I wonder how I can find out.

Well with 2 weeks before we board the DREAM I feel like I finally have time to rejoin you all. I apologize for not being very active on this thread once I joined it. I just finished up my student teaching and graduated with my Bachelors in Special Education 2 weeks ago and I feel like I can finally start getting excited about this vacation! I got my tail into gear last night and finished all of my FE gifts and now I'm just waiting for my FE extender which should arrive sometime this week!

Vacation is almost here!!!

So I'm at work (luckily I work for my family business and were all Disney Nuts!) and I'm just counting down the HOURS till today is over, then I'll countdown tomorrow's work hours and Wednesdays work hours then vacation will officially start for me! Although we don't leave until Friday! I'm usually such a planner and over organizer, but I've just been so busy this year that I haven't had time and now it's really sinking in! I spend all yesterday organizing my sons clothes, I haven't even begun on mine!

Put me on Castaway Cay with a drink in my hand please!

a week from tomorrow we'll all be on the ship. with many of us leaving the end of the week, me included, don't forget to pack the cabin listing along with the FE gifts and FE.

As of right now, 5pm on Monday, I'm not packed, (but the laundry is done), my FE gifts are not finished, (but partially done), and I have a lot of outside (of getting ready) obligations this week.

I have a Pampered Chef party at my house tomorrow night, prayer meeting, Wednesday night, and a Band Booster meeting Thursday night. We leave Friday night for Raleigh for our flight out Saturday!

I need to clean for tomorrow, get my hair and nails done, pack and deliver an order from my business, and everything from the first paragraph.

Will I get it done! Of course! Talk about adding to the excitment of our trip. But right now I really wish I was a super organized, non-procrastinator. Makes me really ready to RELAX on my vacation, lol.

Hi Everyone,

I posted this on our main thread too but wanted to add it here as well.

For those of you with teens, how about we have a real quick meet up in the terminal or anywhere else you can think of so our teens can have a quick "icebreaker"? The teen thread has been really inactive so I thought I'd give this a shot. This way they will see a familiar face in the vibe.

I'm jealous of you all who are already packed!!!
I have the suitcases out on the living room floor half packed. But, as I'm teaching Vacation Bible School all week, and both kids are attending it too, I haven't had enough time to get all the laundry done so I can completely pack!
Plus, I have some surprises for the kids to pack and I can't leave them in the suitcases on the ground b/c DS (3) loves to sort around in them! Ahhh!

Once Friday rolls around, no one will be allowed to wear anything that is going on the cruise and I'll finish up!
I DO have the FE, gifts, and list packed, so I'm not forgetting that for sure!
All this excitement! Can't wait to actually BOARD THE SHIP!!!!!

Back home and unpacked! We love all the really great gifts from all our fellow disers! Thanks to everyone for participating and helping create a little (actually a lot) of magic for our cruise! DS had a blast delivering our gifts and of course checking the FE multiple times daily for gifts!

OK I gotta say you guys are TALENTED!!! Thank you for creating lotsa magic for us too! I mentioned in the other thread that I would be happy to start a Facebook page for us so we could share some photos. Now I am going to start the laundry and begin to unpack!

Who did the necklaces with our names and disney pictures on them? How did you do them?

I made both of those! The postcards I designed in photoshop, using some of the license plate images that were on this board! Then I ordered them as postcards from Vistaprint, and we put the stamps on ourselves.

The necklaces, I made from scrabble tiles. I designed the pictures in photoshop with names, etc... and then printed them and decoupaged them on then put diamond glaze on top to make the glass bubble. Then superglued the necklace parts (or pins for the guys) on the back. So glad you enjoyed them!

Thank you all so much for the very special gifts. We loved them, and DS was very surprised by all the fun things he got. Loved, loved the paint (sand) brush! I got so many comments on it at CC, and even started showing complete strangers how well it worked. The funniest was at the bus stop on the way back to the ship, and I had a line of about 3 kids all waiting their turn for me to brush them!

Did anyone have trouble figuring out our gift? My son thought it was too complicated.
