Dream 7/5/11 - fish extender list

just wanted to remind everyone that I will have a dry erase board on my cabin door so anyone can post last minute cabin changes or any other important FE notices.

Yes! And the magnets - that's right!
In my laundry room I have a couple boxes that I've been putting cruise things in - to be sure I don't forget them. That way when we pack I'll just put that stuff all into the suitcase. So far:
pirate outfits - yes we will be THOSE people dressed up. My DH isn't thrilled but he's playing along!
kids Disney outfits (thanks to Jen at Stitches n Bows on etsy!)
FE (of course!!!)
our surprise FE gifts (of course!!!)
magnets
lanyards with pins for trading
a few vinylmation that I just started collecting in anticipation of trading on the cruise!
clear over the door hanger thing that all the boards recommend

And I do have a problem because I made yet ANOTHER Disneystore.com order today to get myself some sparkly Minnie ears (and a tuxedo Mickey ears hat for DH - he is going to wear his tux on the dress up night but he doesn't yet know he'll be wearing this hat too! Again, won't be super excited, but he is so good at playing along because he knows the kids and I enjoy this stuff so much! That hat will be a surprise! So when you see the guy in a tux with the mickey tuxedo ears hat, you'll know that's my guy! Ha!)

What do you all have in your "get ready for the cruise stash?"

What do you all have in your "get ready for the cruise stash?"

In my stash besides our FE and gifts
I have sunscreen and lip balm
binoculars to see the space shuttle on the launch pad and to look for dolphins
extra sd cards for the cameras
our pirate wear and beads plus lime green glow in the dark swords from the Dollar Tree (think glo-sticks but swords)
photocopies of our flight/hotel/excurstion reservations and passports, and a plastic acordian folder to hold them plus navigators and other scrapbook stuff
A photo mat to be autographed and some thank you candy. The magnets will go in there this weekend.
I'm debating on bringing our pins. I always take them to DL and then never trade any.
Oh and all of the Disney gift cards I have collected over the last 18 months from our bottle and cans recyling $$. We have enough for mother/daughter massages on my DD's birthday
I'm sure I'm forgetting something but that is what my spreadsheet is for

I love the idea about the sparkly ears. We have some too and I'm going to add those to the stash maybe our pirate ears too

just read a post that said that the doors on concierge rooms are slightly different and only very strong magnets will stick.....guess my cheap mickey ears wont work.....just an FYI

I just finished printing mine I used Ellen's suggestion and purchased the Avery paper from Amazon. It was 5 8.5 x 11 pages for $8 and some change. They are very sturdy and at all of my local craft stores sell the same thing but in 3 pages for $9.99 so I felt is was a great deal.

Me too! Thanks again Ellen, you saved us all some money - which we can then spend on the cruise of course!
Ours were thin, yes, but VERY sturdy and they turned out really well!

Well with 2 weeks before we board the DREAM I feel like I finally have time to rejoin you all. I apologize for not being very active on this thread once I joined it. I just finished up my student teaching and graduated with my Bachelors in Special Education 2 weeks ago and I feel like I can finally start getting excited about this vacation! I got my tail into gear last night and finished all of my FE gifts and now I'm just waiting for my FE extender which should arrive sometime this week!

Hi ppiew, I'm really sorry but it is too late to join our FE exchange. we closed the list back in the beginning of May. With only two weeks to go, many participants are already done making their gifts.

Thanks for all the congratulations! Did some vacation shopping last night, and pulled my suitcase out of the closet and threw a bunch of stuff into it. I'm a real slacker when it comes to packing, so it's highly likely that my clothes won't be folded and put in the suitcase correctly until the night before we leave! Makes it even more difficult when you're packing for two as well!

Still awaiting my Fish Extender! I really hope I don't have to make one last minute!

First FE that I have missed! Understand though it was so last minute. I was lucky that something opened up and we were able to get a cabin!!! At least we are fortunate enough to cruise. We have several friends on this sailing and might collectively do our own small FE. Thanks for responding. It was worth a try. We are cruising next year and have already signed up for the FE so we won't miss that one!!!!!
