Just booked this as part of a b2b wth 01/09/2015 for DS graduation. He will turn 18 on this cruise, and our family is super excited. This will be DCL cruise #9 for our family...soooo close to gold!!
It will be myself (Kelley), DH (Patrick), DS (Aaron turning 18), and DD (Kathrin-14). DD (Victoria-20) may or may not be with us. We booked her on the ship to make sure we could get her a spot onboard, but she is in the Navy and reports to a new overseas duty station in February and won't know if she can get leave for the cruise until she gets there.

My husband and I have been on 4 disney cruises and this time the whole gang is coming. My mom and dad (who will be celebrating 40 years of marriage!!), my sister and her husband and 3 boys, and my husband and me and our two kiddos!

We booked this cruise when we were on the 1/12/14 version.
This will be the 4th year in a row of doing this same cruise. We combine it with a few days at WDW and make use of the MLK vacation day.
The weather in January can be questionable but every year we have been extremely lucky and swam at both Nassau (Atlantis) and Castaway Cay.

Glad to see some activity here...we're doing this as part of a b2b and the thread for the 1st half of the cruise is already 3 pages...super glad to have some others joining. Sooo excited about this! Just got off the Magic and for the 1st time ever had our day at sea after the stop at Castaway Cay...it was fabulous!

Partner and I booked this cruise to relax after the WDW marathon weekend. Will probably run the half or the full. This is the last cruise that I need to complete and then I will be GOLD.

It's been two years since our first cruise (honeymoon) and this time we are bringing our Moms! It just so happens that my birthday is that week and we SO want to get our Coast to Coast Run Disney so we signed up for the FULL marathon We've done five 1/2s but the half was already full so we are moving up! Think that we will be trying out the ships spa!

We will be joining you! it will be me (Sheila), my husband Greg, and our twin 4 year old daughters, Raegan and Rylee. This will be our fifth Disney cruise. I signed up for the full marathon (my first ever) and hopefully I'll be able to run/walk/crawl over the finish line. We splurged on a concierge room. It will probably be the first and last time we will be able to afford it. We just got off the Fantasy Saturday and I'm having Disney withdrawals!

We are doing the same! Well I'm running the half and my husband is doing the full. We did the same and went for concierge. It's our "reward" for completing marathon weekend! It'll be us, our 4 and 2 year old girls, plus my parents and sister.

Kudos to y'all running the full! I've done 3 half marathon, and feel stronger after each one, so maybe I'll be brave enough to do the full in another couple years!

Hi everyone!! We will be joining everyone on this cruise as well as the next one. I am running the full marathon that weekend and on the second day of our cruise we are having our dream wedding. Is there going to be a fish extender exchange on this cruise? Look forward to meeting everyone!

Hello Everyone! I saw the announcement about the Castaway Cay 5K Challenge and I was sold! Booked the cruise and registered for the Goofy Marathon Challenge. Is anyone else doing it? I will be flying down for the races, then the hubby and kids are joining for the cruise. Would love to get to know everyone so we can all meet friends instead of strangers!

DW (MickeyGeek) and I will be running our first full marathon and the castaway cay challenge. Looking forward to see you all on the airstrip. I am so glad that we booked this cruise before the announcement because I have a feeling that rooms will go quickly once this circulates around the internet.

Also, does anyone know if there is a fish list yet or do we need to start one? Let me know, I think we can manage one if it is not already being done.

Hi everyone!!!! Hopping in here! We just booked in order to do the Inaugural Castaway run. We are big Run Disney fans! We did the WDW half this past Jan and are going for the Coast to Coast this fall when we do the DL half (oh with the Dumbo as well).

Next year, DH is doing the Goofy and I am dropping down to the 10k to support him during Goofy!! Afterwards, we along with our 4 year old daughter, will be heading in the cruise!!! Woo!

We did the Castaway 5k when it wasn't technically part of a Run Disney race during our first cruise. Excited to do it again!!

Looking forward to connecting with others on the cruise!

I switched my Dec cruise to Jan since the announcement of the Castaway challenge. My cousin will probably be joining soon. I agree with the AP this cruise is going to fill up quick which means more expensive cabins. I have a feeling the meets thread is going to get busy also. I have lot's of runs planned before this one so what's one more This will be our 9th cruise!
