How is the show for kids?

I want to try it next August and my granddaughter will be 5.
My girls 12, 10, & 6 say it was okay...... so they didn't love it, but kinda liked it. So I guess it was worth it. I wouldn't do it every year, but I might see it if the story changed from the last time we saw it. I thought it was worth the price, plus we hit House of Blues Restaurant after the show which we loved.

Our next trip we plan to do a split stay with 4 days at SSR so I figured we should look at the stuff Disney Springs has beyond restaurants and shopping. Over those 4 days I figured we can do the hot air ballon, the car/boat and this show.

Our initial 5 days will be at BLT and park heavy between MK and Epcot

If your family doesn't like crowds, I would avoid Disney Springs on the weekend. We went on a Sunday night and it was really crowded, at least for us.

It's about a little girl coping with the loss of her father via drawing and animation. Like all Cirque du Soleil shows, it's full of amazing acrobatics and other acts and keeps moving. I think most 5 year olds would be entertained.

I forgot to do the update after we went. We were two adults. We really enjoyed it. It would be appropriate for children but it does deal with the loss of a girl’s father. There isn’t any speaking during the show, so would probably go over their heads as far as that goes. We had front row seats and would go with further back if we went again. There is a lot going on and being that close up it was hard to take it all in at once.

It was definitely worth doing,
