Drawing Olaf in the Studios

I wrote a blog post a year ago about my daughter and I getting to draw Olaf from Frozen in the Disney Studios. I've had several recent emails from readers asking if this opportunity is still available and I haven't been to the parks in a year.

Is this still out there or have they changed the characters that you can draw? I'd like to send them an answer!

He is still on the list of characters that can be sketched. Some of the CMs will take a poll of which character should be drawn but some don't give that option. It doesn't hurt to be assertive and request Olaf...

Yep still there, though your odds are about 1 in 50 as that is about how many characters are in the pool.

This is helpful. I had heard a rumor that Disney was going to make a permanent "Draw Olaf" spot somewhere but it was probably just rumor.

I am an artist and teach Drawing...I should lead an online version of how to draw Olaf.

So let's sharpen those pencils...
