I think I have that exact camera!! The Canon Elph, that is. I'm really not a photographer by any means but I love it. The battery lasts FOREVER, I've dropped it a number of times and it's never broken, it takes nice clear pictures and the price is awesome. I'm really happy with mine.I would definitely recommend it!
It's also comforting to know it's resilient. I have the tendency to drop EVERYTHING. I have a Canon and DH has a Canon, and I enjoy them both!
My dad has an Olympus and it take amazing pictures - his is waterproof though, which means he takes great underwater pictures at the pool or on water rides - something to consider!!
I have a Canon powershot too I love it.
I have a Canon (see my PTR for a pic), and I love it. I've not read the manual to knwo how to take night shots yet, but I've been pretty dang happy with the pics thus far!
I vote for the Sony camera just because it's a cool color.![]()

Powershot A1000IS. For $50 more than I paid, you can get a 12 mega pixel.![]()
I know I'm very late joining in, but after seeing you post on Carrie's PTR and my own PTR---I didn't even know you had a PTR of your own!
Very interesting stuff so far. I'm only through the first few links in your index, but will probably be done catching up by tomorrow depending on how bored I get at work.![]()
I have the tenancy to go on (and on) about all sorts of stuff on here. It provides a wonderful way to procrastinate at work. Sssh...don't tell anyone!
)I feel the same way (and based on your responses to my PTR---I had a feeling your own PTR would have the same type of pointless ramblings as my own)
I haven't updated mine in a while---I'm not going until December and I'm trying to hold out as long as possible so I don't run out of stuff to post about.

). Was it you that posted those cool park restaurant menus? Oh, and how do you make the link to your PTR show up as your title instead of the link address? I think I need more coffee.. or more sleep.. or more brain cells!

Sorry, I don't have any insight to offer on your camera issue (I don't even know what brand of camera we have, I just know that it fits in my park bag, so it's all good). Was it you that posted those cool park restaurant menus? Oh, and how do you make the link to your PTR show up as your title instead of the link address? Gee, not only did I not offer any opinions about cameras, but I asked you two questions - yep, I'm just the kind of subscriber everyone wants on their PTRs![]()
It's really easy to create a link for your title. Basically, you'll just need to go into your signature and type out your title. Then, highlight it and click the "insert link" button up in the tool bar area. Once that pops up, just paste the link to your PTR and voila...there's your link!
Hey Lisa! I just saw your link for your PTR. YAY, so glad you started one on here!!!It's really easy to create a link for your title. Ha, I love that you just know the camera fits in your bag. That's awesome!! That's how I used to be, and kind of still am. I don't really care about the brand so much, but I do want it to take pretty nighttime pictures. Sad, I know.
I don't think I'm the menu person. I just use these. Here's another good site.
No worries, I'm happy to help. It gives my PTR substance.![]()
I'm glad my pitiful pleas for help give your PTR substance - I'm happy to help

Oh, you soooooo rock!I'm glad my pitiful pleas for help give your PTR substance - I'm happy to help
Thanks for the menu links - I'll check them out! I need more stuff in my binder!![]()

Right now I am using my mother's until we can save up the money to pay for one. I have had an olympus and kodak but was leaning towards a canon this time. Honestly it will all depend on which one is on sale once we go shopping for one.See, we help each other out.![]()
I just love adding things to my WDW folder. Some times, I just pull it out and look through it. Not b/c I need to, but because I just love doing it.![]()
OK, I just went to look at our camera to see what it is (ds#2 took a picture of my tattoo for InkedUpMamma, so I remembered to look at it LOL) - it's a Sony Cybershot 5.1 megapixel. It works fine for us, I can tell you that (when we remember to have it with us, that is)

From what I've been hearing it's been a crap shoot on how long it's taken people to get through. One person was on the phone for over FIVE hours.
Can you imagine that long distance bill? Uh, no thanks! Even w/ cell that would stink! Wish Disney's online system was up and running. Oh well.

They were on the phone for 5 hours?!
I don't think it really matters between lunch and dinner for WCC. Unless, the CM's are crazier/more fun during one or the other.Ask that question on the Restaurant Thread!
I really hope it doesn't take me that long for just one. I don't know if I have the patience for that. I know, right?I really hope it doesn't take me that long for just one. I don't know if I have the patience for that.
Yeah, I was wondering if it was more livelier in the evening. I'm off to the "Restaurant" thread to find out. Thanks for that suggestion!
