I received the DVD set for Christmas. If you were a fan of this series, you will love the DVD set. It contains two disks. The first disk contains the shows as they were edited for tv, complete with the intro with Walt Disney.

The second disk contains the original non-edited version as show in theaters. Very cool!

Peggy, what was the name of the actor that played Dr. Syn, Patrick something or other? I remember seeing the show on TV but cannot remember his name. I'm sitting here right now with another Disney classic on TCM, The World's Greatest Athlete. Gee, Jan Michael Vincent was a cutie back then!

His name is Patrick Mcgoohan.

DH bought The DVD at Pop Century's gift shop back in 2008. He loved it! Walked around for days singing "Scarecrooooooooow....scarecroooow...the king's men feared his naaaaaame!"
