I'm curious what doctor's offices do if you say you don't have a driver's license.

The same thing TSA would do, they accept an official government issued ID. NY issues IDs that look exactly like a driver’s license. I assume every state has a similar thing.

Went to a new dentist today, they did ask for my SS#, I just made one up. I'm not too persnickety about my info, but I'm pretty sure they don't need that. FWIW I pay cash for services at that dentist.
