Hi Everyone! Just a note to say I am, in fact, still alive and kicking!

Life has been nuts, so nutty in fact I JUST finished unpacking from that Palm Springs trip. Pathetic huh. And the minute I think I have time to breathe, think again. But...it's all good, really good for the most part. I MAY be going to Germany in Jan and if so may try to set up a DISmeet with Katharina and Magdalene (yes girls, you heard it first here) but we will see. We had a lovely thanksgiving followed by a wonderful night downtown to see the tree and star lit and watch the fireworks. Since then I've been busy decorating the house, cooking like a crazy person and attending a bazillion work related parties lol! I have another one tonight but that's completely personal.

This week is nutty with dress rehearsal for the kids church play every night, the play itself all 3 days this weekend, as well as my company annual training and party which I'm coordinating but I'm really hoping to get an update up tomorrow and then get caught up on the boards maybe on Sunday if I'm really lucky.

It's actually written, I just haven't had time to add in the picture links, pathetic I know!

I miss you guys!!!

Ah, I'm not sure it's really any more work other than all the driving Biggest chore is the gift spreadsheet. Which my enginerd hubby turned into a responsibility matrix today. Cracked me up!

thankfully I don't host Christmas, Thanksgiving is my day. Though I do have in-laws arriving on the 28th... LOL!

You know Tammie, that's the blessing. Honestly I haven't been around as much well, because I have been putting family first and truly enjoying things. So it's good but I miss you guys!

Little extra things that we haven't made time for before. Sunday night advent readings, all kinds of little things. way more baking, not sure what has gotten into me All good.

Wow!! I hope we can work something out. Of course now I am curious about the when, where and why regarding this trip to Germany. Unfortunalty January very often is not the time of year to see Germany from its best side... But I guess you are not coming just for a vacation.

Yes, I want to know more about it as well. January and February are in fact weatherwise the worst months to visit, but still better than not visit at all!!!

Hey, just checking in to stay don't sweat the frequency you are able to post! The last thing you need is any extra guilt during this season! I'm noticing everyone has slowed down quite a bit- totally understandable!

I'm sure a bunch of us are having trouble keeping up too!

So if we have to wait for January until a flurry of updates it will be something to look forward to get us through a dreary winter.

BTW- the main reason I posted is to say I am totally stealing "Enginerd". I have one of those. No gift matrix, though.

I'm having a hard time getting on the DIS, keeping up, and commenting, so you just take your time...but not too long.

Yeah, I have a feeling the weather is probably rather similar to it is here, but no, not exactly a vacation...but kind of....

so I really do have an update ALMOST ready. Darn picture links taking me way longer than they should.

The reality is that in between this Germany thing, work and kids well, I can't seem to hunt down all my links as quickly as I'd like!

Wow! A trip to Germany, even work related, will be fantastic! Too bad it won't be taking place in a warmer, drier month. Hope you get to finagle a DISmeet in there, that would be too cool. I hear ya on the jam-packed schedule. I'm only managing to fit in a few minutes of DIS time while I eat my breakfast because Scott is off today and took the girls to the bus stop. In an hour I'm due at school for the winter parties, then I have 2 1/2 hours in which to get all my Christmas shopping done before the girls get home (its an early release day). Then they'll be off for three weeks, so I won't have much opportunity to shop without them.
