Dr. 90210 10/28 red thong

Is anyone else out there watching Dr. 90210? GF and I are barely watching but we both just noticed something disturbing. Dr. Rey (the jerky one in the pinstripe suits) is in Venezuela and a few minutes ago he was shown talking to a woman wearing a red thong. There was a butt shot and GF and I both noticed that (I'll try to put this politely) it seemed between the cheeks and just below the red thong but way above her thighs there was an opening through which you could see to the other side of the room.

I don't think that kind of opening is usually there. Both GF and I thought "Isn't there something which should be on the other side of her body at the level of her cheeks?" While GF and I are certainly not small people, I don't think this is just an issue of her being very thin.

Maybe she was tipping her body a certain way--standing at a slant? Or her body is just different shaped than most? Or maybe this is normal? Did anyone else see this?

I saw it and thought the same thing. I think I actually started asking the tv questions about it...

I didn't watch this episode, but on another message board that I read this was posted about the show:

Funny you called him the jerky one. I always feel so bad for his wife. Like he doesn't even notice her or that she has issues....like when she wasn't eating at all for a long time. And now she's in this HUGE house, that he's never in. I think she's lonely. And he's high on himself.

Glad we weren't the only ones who noticed. I wasn't paying much attention to what was happening on the show, but GF and I were still discussing after I posted this and she was trying to think of an explanation. She said "well, I think the woman had some kind of butt surgery to separate the cheeks--maybe that's why." The idea of that surgery is disturbing in itself, but I still don't think it explains what we saw! Oh well

And about Dr. Rey--I agree about him seeming not to notice the problems with his wife. Actually all of the doctors on the show seem a little bit high on themselves and jerky, but I think he's the worst of them. (Though, on the episode last night there was maybe a new guy? Someone I haven't seen before at least. He said something like "The only trait that matters when plastic surgeons look for a woman is personality because we know we change everything else." He might be in the running with Dr. Rey!)
