DP Snacks?

Hey Everyone--
Just a question, we are leaving next week and its the first time we'll have the dining plan, and Im a little nervous about it.

For the snack credits, are the items that are available for snacks clearly stated around the parks? Since we've never been on the DP, I can't recall if there are signs, or lists, or anything letting you know WHAT you can get. I've heard that it is generally items that are about $5 or less, but I want to make sure we are making the right choices. Or do I just ask at the counter? TIA

Also, when we were there last year there were symbols next to items that you could get as a snack-I assume that's still the case. But, it never hurts to ask, as there have been many changes to the snacks since DDP first started.

Here's a pix of a sign I took last year and you can see the symbol next to snack items.

I believe it is most items under $4 that are single serving.

You can't add them to your (very well-maintained, and thank you for doing that) list of confirmed snacks because they're not confirmed... but it appears, based on the current definition of "snack", that yes, these marked items would all still be included.

We'll be most likely doing both waterparks in Sept. and I'll report back after. Hopefully, someone going before me can report back as well.

Just back last week everything is clearly marked as the past few years with the purple and white symbol as shown on the above picture. They have cut back on some items like the tub of popcorn and a box of entamanns donuts large bag of chips (things that can be shared). But there many , many items available. If you are there for the Food and Wine Fest. many of the food items are included and are marked.
When you get there it is easier to see.
