DP and Planet Hollywood

Is Planet Hollywood part of the dining plan and if so are there menu restrictions on what DP participants can order?

Yes, Planet Hollywood is a DPP restaurant. I do not know of any restrictions though.

Might be thinking of the certificate that comes with the AAA pkg. There are some meal restrictions when using that I believe.

Has anyone in 2007 used the new $15 off voucher yet in combination with DDP? I know alcohol is excluded.

I would also love to know the answer to the voucher question. We'll be eating there the first night of our trip and we'll be on the dining plan. I wanted to use the voucher to get my DS some shrimp.

I'm not sure about the vouchers since we haven't been there since they started giving those out. However, we ate there in August of 2005 while on the free dining plan and there was only 1 restriction. There was one meal, I believe a "surf n' turf" kinda thing, where you'd have to pay an additional $5-$7 (can't remember exactly how much) if you ordered that while on the plan. Everything else on the menu was fair game. We liked the food there so much, we went twice that week.

Thanks for all the information!!!! We were planningon using the DP to eat there on our next trip. We are planning to book through AAA so that may change things if we recieve the voucher. Can the voucher be used only on a food at PLanet HOllywood or can you use it on merchandise.

Are ADRs necessary for Planet Hollywood? I know it doesn't seem like the most popular place to eat on the boards? I like that kind of food...I think it would be perfect for us!

When we were there August 2005, we were told by the disney dining CMs that they don't offer ADRs for Planet Hollywood. It seems like recently I've read on another thread that they don't offer ADRs between certain times, like 5-10pm or something. I would call disney dining to make sure of the details. We walked up twice the week we were there, and were seated within 20 minutes one time, and 5 minutes the next.

I had ADR's made for in April (2007) for 9pm. We eventually had to cancel the trip but I was able to make ADR's and they didn't mention me needing to do it at only certain times. I need to rebook for our December trip (PH is a must do for DH, lol).

I asked on another board and someone wrote me back with this response:

Well, I haven't used mine yet (and we won;t) but I have it here in my hot little hands & it does say the $15 credit is on food & non-alcoholic beverages only. It is also dine-in only (which stinks because maybe we could have used it for carry out). It also says the voucher cannot be used w/ any other discount/promotion/or offer. And of course the "offer subject to change w/o notice" disclaimer is also printed on it.
