Just returned from vacation. Spent 7 nights at Best Western at Downtown Disney. We were on a limited budget this time, so we tried something different. Unfortunately, I have nothing nice to say. Let's just say, I will never stay there again.

Nothing could spoil a vacation at The World!! You name it, we weren't happy with it. Rust in tub, stains everywhere, slow service, etc.

Uh oh - I'm booked for a one night stay at this hotel later in August. Did you walk to DTD any? If yes - how was the walk (length, scenery, busy road crossings, etc)?

I'm sorry you had a bad experience at Best Western-LBV. We stayed there in July for 6 days before the Poly and really enjoyed our stay there. We had no complaints whatsoever and we stayed on the 6th floor. Our room was nice and clean and so was the bathroom....looked like all new tile floor. Staff was friendly as well except for the bus drivers....they never once cracked a smile or said a word. But, who cares, we were at Disney after all!!!

Thanks to all. Didn't walk to DTD, seemed too far with all the walking to be done in parks. It just goes to show, everybody has a diffferent experience. This was 3rd trip with 5 children, first time off site(Inst. in '00, OKW in '04), will make sure to stay on-site from now on.
