Okay let me have the low down on the cool things at downtown Disney. Heard a little about Mr. Potato... Need more info on it and things like it......

Hi, this is my first time on this board, but I have a few ideas.

You didn't mention if you have kids, but I assume you do since you asked about Mr. Potato Head. In any store in the Marketplace your kids can ask for a sticker hunt booklet. Each store they go into after that they ask for the sticker and fill the book. When finished they can turn it in for a small prize I believe. I read about this on another board and have not done it myself. Also I read on another board you can find the worlds largest Perikaliedoscope in the Market place. I do know there are play fountains. At the Lego Imagination Center the kids can build to their hearts content in the out door play area. Be sure to find Grandpa snoring on a bench. There is a carousel that costs a couple dollars to ride. The Wonderful World of Memories has a station inside that you can use to work on your scrapbooking. I hear Ghiradelli gives free samples of their ice cream. The AMC theater is there and a great place for a break. You can get tickets through Hotwire Savings Club for $4.50, the first 30 days are free, I have bought tickets here and canceled before 30 days with no problems. Hope this helps.

Ghiradelli is great. I love the World of Disney ( I think that is the correct name), it is a huge store. I buy almost all my souviners there. They have a Christmas store which is nice too. There is also a Lego store with a play area for kids. A nice Disney home store, a Pooh store, and a scrapbooking and art store too. They also have a Virgin music store. There are lots and lots of nice stores there. They do change some of them from time to time too. Downtown Disney is a must for us on every trip to WDW.

I am the one that is a kid! I have been to Downtown but have never done the potato head box and it sounded fun. Just wnat to know other shopping fun deals like that. (If you can call anything at Disney a deal! I just don't want to miss anything!!!
