Parking your car at Downtown Disney. Would like to know if there is a time limit and how long is it.

I used the car parks at DTD a couple of times on my last trip. Once I parked I think it was toward the rear of the T-Rex dining thing and the other time it was way out of the back of Cirque du Soleil. I have never had an issue with times or anything.

Hope this helps

You can park all day. Note there is no direct transportation from DTD to any of the theme parks. Especially in the morning, bus service is exceedingly limited.

That being said, I enjoy the quietness of DTD in the morning (but also like the lights at night).

So if driving to Disney it's not a bad idea to take your own car to DTD then? I think I will take the bus to the parks but whatever is easiest...

Parking near the Marketplace can be very tough. We went one Tuesday morning in May and ended up way down near Raglan Road, so it was a bit of a walk to Earl of Sandwich. I am CERTAIN that the majority of those cars were NOT there so their owners could shop (this is the parking lot closest to the buses, after all).

I would drive there rather than take the bus, though, since bus transportation can be an extremely time-consuming task. Plenty of people still use DD to park for free, even though it can add an 60-90 minutes (or more!) each way in travel time to & from the parks. Of course Disney knows this, so I think they make it as inconvenient as possible in order to discourage folks from doing it.

And no, there's no time limit.

Buses start running regularly from the Marketplace bus stop at 8am. The other stops don't have regular bus service til 11. You can park all day for free (I do this all the time). Getting to a park from DTD can take a while so plan for that. I recommend catching a resort bus to a resort close to whatever park you're going to. Ex-AK buses are right next to AK. But you can hop any resort bus and then hop off at the resort and catch a connecting bus to a park. Just remember at the end of the day you will have to go BACK to a resort and then catch a connection to DTD. I recommend hopping an Old Key West or Saratoga Springs bus as they are closest to DTD. And you CANNOT park super close to the Marketplace bus stop. You will have a bit of a walk no matter what. If you get to DTD around 8 though you can usually find a spot in A or B (I always do). So if you don't mind taking your time getting to and from the parks then DTD is quite a money-saving option. Hope this helps! :)

What time do the buses stop running at night back to the hotels from dtd??thanks
