Downtown Disney ?

I was wondering if there is a grocery store within walking distance of DTD?

There is a Goodings Supermarket across the street located in the Cross Roads Plaza which you can walk to, however I am not sure how long it would take. The only thing is they are expensive so maybe you would be better of trying the Wal-Mart Supercenter which happens to be 5 - 7 minutes from Downtown Disney and is located at 3250 Vineland Road Kissimmee, FL.

Is the 5-7 mins walking or driving ? Staying at SSR and am trying to figure out the cheapest way to get some snacks and other stuff for our stay (we're in a studio so won't/can't get too much).

The 5-7 minutes is how long it would take by driving or taking a taxi to the Wal-Mart, because unlike the Goodings Supermarket you can not walk there.

You should be able to buy basic groceries and snacks at your resort. From what I understand, there is no grocery store within walking distance. You will have to take a taxi.

Go online and use the Green Grocer. They will deliver to your resort, there is a $12 dollar delivery fee. It is almost worth not having to navigate the roads. They don't seem to be big on road signs there.
