Downtown Disney

I have been there a few times, but have never spent a great deal of time there. So if I was spending an afternoon there with my DH and 10 year old what would I want to check out? Dinner is taken care of as DS wants to go to Rainforest Cafe and I know he wants to hit the Lego store, but what else should we not miss?

I shop. I could spend the whole day shopping in DTD.

We usually eat lunch at Earl of Sandwich. Then I shop some more.

i have read at one of the stores, once upon a toy ( ? ) there is a place where you can make your own lightsaber. i think for us, 8 yrs old son, this is going to be a "must do".

we are going to eat at the rainforest cafe also, and check out lego store and the once upon a toy, disney quest, and anything else i can find time for, oh for me, another must do is cheese cake factory.

i think i will be bringing an extra 50lbs backs (in fat) for my souvenirs! LOL at least i won't need an extra suitcase for that! (just larger pants)

I love going into all the stores. We talk to everyone we see. We have a great time at DTD. Ghiaradelli (sp?) if you like chocolate is the place to be!
It was always busy, but great ice cream sundaes!

Ahh man...I want to go again....

Sounds like somebody is headed to the World?!?!?!?!?!? When are you going? Do tell all your plans. I must live vicariously! We will be down there in July/August and I just CAN'T wait!!!!

Hi Liz! We are headed south in a couple of weeks and I can't wait. This is our first trip in 5 years!! How are things in your neck of the world?

DS is a chocoholic so maybe we will need to stop by, Is it just a sit down place or is it a store where you can buy chocolate too? After RFC I am sure we will be full, but DS always has room for chocolate.
