Yes they are. Otherwise you have to bus or boat to a Disney resort, and then bus to the Magic Kingdom.

And if you went to the CR I'd just walk to MK. The monorail will go from the CR-TTC-Poly-GF- and then to the Magic Kingdom.

The bus service from DTD is notoriously slow. Nothing quick about it. I think they do it on purpose, to keep people from parking at DTD with the intent of going to the theme parks.

You're right - I don't think anything would actually be "quick". I should have said "quicker than two buses".

You might not be able to park at the CR without being a guest there or having a diner reservation. I heard you may be able to with valet parking, but then I would just park in the MK lot. You have to pay to valet park anyway.

OP was asking about bus service from DTD, bus to CR was suggested instead, no car involved.

You could take the boat to POR and then a bus from POR to MK. However, all of this sounds really slow. You might really consider the cab. However, don't be surprised if it's not as cheap as you thought it should be. We took a cab from the Poly to AK to eat at Jiko. I think it was over $20 or about that with tip. Everything seems so close together, that I thought it would be ~$10.
