Downtown Disney to Animal Kingdom?

Can someone tell me how I get from Downtown Disney to Animal Kingdom using Disney transportation? We're staying at the Grand Floridian, but I'm pretty sure I don't need to go all the way back to catch the Animal Kingdom bus from the resort. Thanks!

I think you would have to take a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge and then bus to Animal Kingdowm. I don't believe you can pick up a park bus at DTD.

no park buses go to DTD. so you'd have to go to one resort or another (or the TTC or epcot) to catch an AK bus.

When we attempted to go to Downtown Disney from the TTC they directed us to the Poly. Find a resort bus closest to the park and catch the bus to DD from there.

We did AK to DtD - we took a bus to Saratoga Springs Resort and walked over. You could do that in reverse!

You need to go to a resort - ANY resort - and get the bus to AK there.

Pop & AoA are on the way, and their buses don't stop at other resorts or make multiple stops within the resort.

Another option is the boat to POFQ or OKW, and the bus to AK from there. It takes longer, but you get a nice relaxing boat ride thru a wooded area.

I think that walkway is closed due to the new DTD construction? Could be wrong, and if I am that's a great idea that we've done before...going back to the old days of our Disney Institute stays.
