If you could eat at only one full service restaurant at Downtown Disney, which would it be?

I really like wolfgang puck's; I really like the butternut squash soup!!

Hi

We (myself, DD17, DD20 - poor DH stayed at home to earn the money we spent:):) were just there last week and once again the vote is Wolfgang Puck's.

Have been there 3 or 4 times in the last few years for lunch and dinner and am never disappointed by the food or service. Worth any wait.

Have a magical Disney Day!! :sunny:

Fulton's Crab House. My wife and I dined there on 3/14. She had the 'Alaska King Crab Claws and Australian Lobster Tail', but requested that the more crab claws be substituted in lieu of the lobster tail. I had the Cioppino, which turned out to be one of the finest meals that I've had in over 30 years of dining at WDW. Everything about our expierience was top notch with the exception of the Bloody Mary's we ordered, which needed a bit more pizzaz, ala the 'Wasabi Mary' at the Kona Cafe'.

My vote would be for Wolfgang Puck EXPRESS! I love their pizza and everything else we have tried. Personally, I like stopping at DTD express better than the restraunt which we also do every trip.

DH and I always eat lunch at Bongos. We really like the cubian sandwich.

Bongo's and Wolfgang Pucks are both great meals!

Which Wolf Gang Pucks are you all referring to? We ate at the Wolf Gang Pucks Upscale Dining and it was horrible.. and overpriced for it's food. (more than $200 for just 4 of us)

Portobello Yacht Club, hands down the best meal we've had at Disney in a long, long time!

Wolfgang Puck express was excellent this past Jan! I had the Rueben, DH the 1/2 roast chicken and the kids split a pizza. All was excellent (especially the mashed potatoes on DH's plate!) and prepared right in front of you, no reheats! :cheer2:

I went to Fulton's 2 years ago and it was my hand's down fav but I've heard the quality has gone down. If you have kids you may be uncomfortable as well.

Also, for the cheapest eats you cannot beat Earl of Sandwich! The salads are made in front of you with the ingredients that you pick (totally awesome dressings too) and I had the Tuna Melt (not something I would EVER order out but it was the BEST ever and only $4.95)! That bread they use is sublime!

Good luck and happy dining!

I had one of the best meals I've ever had at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe. I was dining on a meal plan. I started off with a pepperoni pizza for my appetizer--very thin crust, very tasty. Then, I had a filet mignon with the best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten. For dessert, I got a sampler that included small portions of key lime pie, chocolate souffle cake, and cheesecake. Very yummy.

We're a seafood maniac kind of family so Fultons is the only way for us to go.
We've eaten there twice and look forward to the lobster bisque and king crab legs (they give you only the first thick segment of the leg, not the claws or the smaller parts and the shell is half gone so all the weight is in the meat) again in June '05!

Another vote for the Wolfgang Puck Cafe. For your entree have anything at all...but, for desert, you must get the creme brulee sampler.....and lick the plate clean.....it is simply outstanding! :lovestruc

ps...excuse my french spelling....you don't have to be able to spell it to LOVE it!

Are the pizzas enough to share if you split a salad as well (or order 2
side salads) at Wolfgang Pucks?

It would depend on what meal, what we were in the mood for, and who I was with.
It's hard to go wrong at any of them.

I earned a $25 coupon just a few nights ago. Itis good for a year. Plus I was e-mailed a coupon for a free dessert a few weeks after joining!
:cool1:
(The free dessert coupon was only good for a month after the e-mail date.)
