downtown disney parking

This may be a silly question, but where do you park at downtown Disney? Are there public parking areas or just the Disneyland parking lot?
The day we come in I was thinking of trying that Earl of Sandwich, but we won't be entering the park that day, so won't be using a shuttle or paying for a parking lot.

DTD has it's own parking lot. Just follow the signs that say "Downtown Disney" parking and you should be fine.

You can park there for free for 3 hrs.
