Downtown Disney parking

Is there any handicapped parking at Downtown Disney now or does everyone have to park across the street and take the shuttle?

There is handicapped parking in every one of the parking lots ( I think 5 are still open). There appears to be slightly more than the required number in each lot. They are located closest to the entrance to DTD for that lot.

Depending on what time you go, you may find them all full and be prepared to wait. On our last trip we just waited for one or a spot as close as we could (night hours), I decided it was not safe to get my DS from the lots across the street to DTD. Each time I used the lots by Cirque.

Note the new parking garage is supposed to open to the public Nov 20th.
