downtown disney or boardwalk

our first night we will be looking for something to do, downtown disney or boardwalk? and why? I will be with a 14 year old boy

ESPN Club has alot of cool memorabilia, halfway decent food and a bunch of TVs to catch his favorite team.

our first night we always take the boat from Port Orleans to DTD. You are relaxed, in the magic and ready to go the next day! And at World of Disney you can look for something to buy (or postcards maybe) outside of the craziness of some park stores

This is funny because I'm going to say Downtown Disney. I don't even particularly like Downtown Disney, and I always stay around the Boardwalk because I love that area, however, there is a lot more to do at Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney for sure. So much more to do and see. Lots of food options and really puts you in the Disney mood. Good luck!

DTD has a Lego store. They usually have a display out front where kids can build a car and then race them down a ramp...my kids really had unexpected fun with this (at about that age).

Absolutely DTD! There's really not much to do at Boardwalk, in my opinion...

Downtown Disney for sure! Do you have water parks & more on your pass? He can hit up DisneyQuest for a bit

Agreed. Unless you are staying over there or have dinner reservations, I wouldn't make a special trip to the Boardwalk.

we actually have 2 free passes to Quest at DTD....it looks like that is where we will be heading thank you for all the tips
