Downtown Disney meal suggestions

Will be at Downtown Disney on New Years Day, probably late morning early afternoon. Are there any places for brunch or an early lunch. Is there any way to see what the food trucks will have that day?

I can't think that the food trucks will have anything different than they regularly have - there is a food trucks park menu at allearsnet.com. Can't tell if it's everything though.

Not sure about the food trucks but Raglan Road does an AMAZING brunch! You can make reservations to sit inside but I actually preferred on our last trip when we walked up and just waited in the short patio line. I don't think they take reservations for outside and the wait was only a couple minutes, really great!

One of my favorite restaurants on property is Wolfgang Puck Express. Rally good food - love the BBQ chicken pizza and creme brulee for dessert. Yum.

I love Bongos Cuban Cafe...lively atmosphere and delicious, authentic food.

I can recommend Morimoto for Lunch. Fantastic service and food.

I really love Boathouse. Not sure about brunch but they have a pretty varied menu - from filet & lobster to burgers & fish tacos - and both indoor & outdoor seating. Tremendous service as well. I'm also a big fan of Raglan Road (although haven't tried their brunch). Wolfgang Puck Express is a great "hybrid" choice between quick & table service.

I just made reservations at Morimoto for my April trip. Looking forward to it. Do you know if the restaurant is open only on the weekends? I tried getting a reservation for Wednesday when we arrive but couldn't find anything, but was able to book on Saturday.

It's open daily. Go onto Open Table and book your reservation; you should have no problems once it's 90 days out. There are only so many available ADR's using Disney for an ADR.

We actually didn't make reservations. We went on a Wednesday during the first week for December and we didn't have to wait for a table. If you don't want to push your luck, make reservations. I think that we just got lucky and we went early to lunch.
