We've stayed at Royal Plaza twice. Nice hotel with decent prices and you can get a view of the fireworks at night (saw both Epcot and MK at the same time on our last night 
) They do allow for package delivery at the hotels and each DTD hotel has a Disney store. I'm waiting for a review of the renovated Regal Sun. The pool area looks nice from the pics I've seen.
