Hello All.

I'm trying to do some quick research, quickly, lol.

We stay onsite, but when I went to book our flight 2 weeks ago it was sold out. I'm a procrastinator--what can I say? So now my fiance and I are driving. If we make it there alive after being in the car with each other for 13 hours.... we would like a nice place to sleep, lol.

We check into Animal Kingdom Villas the next day, but will probably hang out at Downtown Disney to get dinner and just go to bed on the day of arrival. Here's what I need to know opinions on....

Out of: Hilton, Holiday Inn, Wyndam.....

Which is the nicest?
Which is nearest to Downtown Disney?
Which has the best view of Downtown Disney? (I will pay $$ for the view :goodvibes)
Overall which do you recommend?

Thanks for your help!!

I'd say the Hilton on all those counts, but the Holiday Inn is newly renovated after being closed for several years and you may like that better. Plus, only the Hilton gives access to Extra Magic Hours!

Hilton you are diagonal from DTD, Wyndham is just across the street from the Hilton, directly across from the marketplace. If you pay extra for the Disney tower view rooms at the Wyndham you have a nice view, overlooking DTD.
But like the PP said, Hilton is the only one with EMH. We enjoyed the Wyndham for price we paid (we actually got it for about 88 a night over Christmas).

thanks for your help. we added a night to our arrival and probably won't get there until 7 or 8 at night. we just want to get dinner and sleep until we move to animal kingdom villas the next day. just didn't see the need to pay disney prices for a couple hours :)

i think i'll try the wyndam since we'll probably go to fulton's or portobello for dinner!!

The Hilton has EE hours but our question is do you get free parking at the parks too? There is a $10 fee to park @ the Hilton, I'd hate to have to pay to park at the parks too. :confused3

No, you have to pay, but the shuttle service is quite reliable, We were very happy with their service.
