Parking is free but if you are staying on site I would take the bus because the parking lot fills up fast.

There are restaurants there but if they are like my kids they like the McDonald's there the best. Next to McDonald's is the world of Lego where kids can spend hours building things.

The World of Disney is a big store selling everthing Disney. My favorite stores there are the Christmas store and the Kitchen Store.

great.. thanks to all.
I am so nervous , have never been and do not want to miss
out on anything to do there.
its like a trip of a lifetime for us and do not know when we would
go again after this time !

The stores there are great! As is Ghirardellis' chocolate shop! Make sure you stop by the Lego land store---great area outside to build with the Legos. We like to eat at Planet Hollywood---your kids would probably think that is cool!

DD12 & I could spend all day at DTD...shopping/browsing/snacking.
DH & DS9 hate shopping.
They always seem to rush us thru there.

Well this summer, DD & I are finally going to get to go to DTD alone while DH & DS dine at Shula's. I can't wait!!

Don't forget swimsuits for the little ones...There is a sidewalk back in the back that sprays water. Very fun diversion when its hot!!!

My kids like Earl of Sandwich and Rainforest Cafe. You can make your own custom dipped rice crispy treats or pretzel rods at the candy shop (can't remember the name of the shop) for about $3 .

We have never done this, but there are those little water mice boats to rent.

love dtd!! especially at night when its all lit up..its nice to just stroll around and window shop..its real laid back..nice thing to do after a crazy day in the park..princess:

oh one more thing- make sure you look for teh store thats got everything disney for under $10 bucks...you could let your kids load up on some stuff and then maybe they'll let you look around w/out them nagging you:laughing:
