Downtown Disney & Epcot Additions to DDP-Discuss...

What are your feelings, hopes, wants, and dreams about many restaurants added to the Disney Dining Plans (Bongos, HOB, WP upstairs, Paradiso 37, Portobello, Rainforest Cafe, TREX, Bistro, Fultons, etc...?


Will it be a good thing?



A Challenge?


Will the menus suffer or improve at such locations?



Will it improve anything at the old DDP plans by fostering healthy competition?

I am looking forward to our trip this yr so we can eat @ T-Rex & Fulton's on the plan! Last yr we did T-Rex as our only oop meal & loved it & we have heard nothing but good things about fulton's.

I am looking forward to the changes as well, and hope that they stick for 2013. However, I fear that this may end or curtail "free dining" promotions. I don't know the details of the deals made with these tenants of DTD and Epcot, but if reimbursement for dining credits means "cash" it is a game changer. But that is for those in charge to decide, I will enjoy trying things out the new way.
