We have tickets to Cirque de Soleil for our trip in a few weeks. If we take the POR/POFQ boat to DTD, spend some time shopping and eating, and then walk over to CDS, how long are we looking at? A 10 min walk? 30 min?

Just curious....would like to get some sort of an estimate from those who have been there and done the same!

Hey Christy from TX....We are also going to Cirq. If your talking about shopping at the west end and then walking to Cirq, I would say about 10-20 minute walk. Depending on how fast you walk. :cool1: We will be staying at POR and will be doing the same thing you are doing. I don't know if you are going to the 6 or 9:00 show, but you should have plenty of time. Just remember from what we have been told to show up like a good 15 - 30 min before the show starts. I hope you have a great trip.../

Not sure if this helps, but if my memory is right, the boats drop you off pretty close to Cirque, so if you just wanted to shop in West Side, you'd be right there, but if you are wanting to go to Marketplace, it's about 10 mins. Hope I'm remembering that right!

Yes definately get there early! Lines are long for restrooms before the show and lines are long to get in before the show... They have enough people helping guests find their seats, so the line moves quickly enough. If you get there late, they might not let you in until it is safe for performers to be distracted by the movement in the audience. (At least that is what I think Cirque does.)

Enjoy the show! We've seen it twice and also have seen Varakai and Allegria.
Cirque du Soleil is amazing! :flower:

We are going this Thursday, staying at POFQ, La Nouba at 9, how late do the boats run back to the resort? I would hate to dance the night away and get stuck at PI.

Thanks guys! That helps a lot. We're going to the 6:00 show. Can't wait!!

And thanks for the tidbit on where the boat docks. I just figured it was near the marketplace.

Not much more time now.....

Be there at 5:30!

Yes, they do not allow you to go to your seats during certain times in the show. If you arrive right at 6:00 after they close the ropes, you will not be seated until almost 6:10 or so.

I think the last boat is sometime around 11 PM. Be sure to check with your hotel! There are also busses that probably run later... again check with your hotel when you check in! :flower:

11pm is the last boat, after you'll have to take the buses,

Also, they do not run in bad weather, or if there is thunder/lighting off in the distance.
