Our only bad dining experience our entire vacation last year was Wolfgang Puck Cafe....horrible, horrible, horrible. Will never go there again. However, we LOVE Downtown Disney and need a recommendation for a place to eat dinner. I've read good things about Raglan Road but also read that it's no longer on the 2010 dining plan????? Any other suggestions? What about that Paradiso 37?

For a table service restaurant I would recommend Fulton's Crab House and for a counter service location I would recommend Earl of Sandwich.

We've enjoyed House of Blues. Service is generally quite good and the food has never disappointed.

T Rex is another idea, but we haven't eaten there, so I can't comment. And I agree that the Earl of Sandwich is fantastic for a counter meal - great sandwiches! Usually mobbed, but lines move quickly
.

Raglan Road!! It's also def on the DDP - check the Disney site - the DDP brochure lists it.

We are fitting in a ton of new restaurants this upcoming trip, and this is one that I keep trying to fit in. We had such a great time last time we went!

We really like Raglan Road. Have eaten there several times and always good food & service. We also tried the new Paradiso 37, everything there was good too, just thought a little pricey. Earl of Sandwich & Cooks of Dublin for fast food type.

We would definitely recommend Raglan Road but you probably don't want to listen to us since we loved Wolfgang Puck Cafe as well.:rotfl2:

I am in complete agreement. Love HOB and the Earl, the T-Rex is fun but just OK food

Agreed!!! Wolfgang's is better than most table service imop. It's AWESOME!! We ate there 4 times last trip..lol

Wolfgang Puck upstairs dining room (not the cafe) is great. Not our favorite restaurant of our week long trips, but definitely good enough that we've gone annually for the last 3 years and this upcoming May as well. Much smaller, quieter, and more refined atmosphere than the room downstairs, and we love the food. I enjoyed the cafe downstairs for lunch in January, but did think it was overpriced for what we got and I enjoyed spending a little more money for better quality upstairs for dinner.

Well, we do the dining plan so it's a great use of a counter service credit. Food is food to us. We eat quick, then back to playing. Kinda fun seeing a $80.00 ticket and not being charged for that. If I had to pay OOP we would not be eating there!! But, don't get me wrong the food is good, and we are from the deep South.. where food is GOOOOODDD!!!! : )
