My family, (wife, daughter 7, and myself) are looking to do lunch in DTD on our upcoming trip. We have heard nice things about Portobella's and Fultons Crab House. We will be paying out of pocket. Please help us decide. Which one would you choose and why?

I've had a couple bad experiences with service at fultons. so of the two I would go with portobellas. have had a good meal there and service was good. I would personally choose house of blues or raglan road, at pleasure island a little further down.

not a sitdown restaurant, but earl of sandwich is really good, and also cheap. then dessert can be had at ghirardelli's just across the way.:thumbsup2

we love earl's!! combining earl's w/ the fantastic shopping at World of Disney plus treats at Goofy's makes for a perfect experience for us!!

Again, not a sit-down, but we thought Wolfgang Puck Express was VERY good!

Fulton's was EXPENSIVE last time I went. I think between the 3 of us, we easily spent 200 with tip. The food wasn't that great either.. I suggest you stick with Portobella's if these are your only two options.

Our 7yo would say McDonald's and Lego store, so don't ask your daughter. :rotfl2:

There is also Trex, the new Dinosaur themed restaurant. People seem to love the theming, not sure about the food ruling just yet.

Went to Portobella's in August and we loved it there. Never been to Fulton's but my brother has and he said that was go to. It a hard choice Depends what you want to eat. You should go ck out the menu's. Either place I don't think you can go wrong.

house of blues , great food , pretty reasonable, and if you like fish try the catfish nugget appitizer , awsome stuff there:woohoo:

Portobello is one of our favorites :thumbsup2
I love the fresh bread w/ roasted garlic they serve you as soon as you sit down!

Hi there! We just ate @ T-Rex and the kids (girl - 7, boy - 7, girl - 10) LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it. They have Build-a-Dino in the back - prepare yourself accordingly.

The adult beverages were excellent (spendy, but worth it), and the food won rave reviews all around. Someone got pasta, another got a burger, the kids LOVED their meals... I got the Paleozonic Chicken Sandwich and it was the biggest sammich I've ever seen. Their portions are appropriately MAMMOTH. (sorry - had to)

The theming inside is a blast, if a little loud, and the atmosphere is very fun. If I hadn't been imbibing, it would have been pretty reasonable in terms of cost as well - especially considering we should have split entrees! The Ice Cave is particularly fabulous.

I also love Wolfgangs, and Rainforest Cafe is always fun.

That is my first choice at DTD, we loved it and can't wait to go back. I had the Paleozonic sandwich also and YUM! Even the potato chips are great, we ask what brand and they said they make them there.

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at both Wolfgang Puck Cafe and House of Blues. Rainforest Cafe has ok, yet expensive, food, but it's fun for the kids. This time we're trying out T-Rex!

WPE is very good reasonable priced. EOS is great for a quick sandwich.

Definitely Portobello's. By the way, their menu has changed and they no longer serve the roasted garlic with the bread. This is still one of our favorite restaurants, though. We like the new menu. It has not yet been updated on www.allearsnet.com. We really want to like Fulton's but it is way too expensive for all of the really bad service we have had there over the years.
