Downtown Disney Checkin to Reopen?

Could anyone tell me if this facility has reopened?

It was really handy on the last day of your trip. To be able to check in all your bags and just turn upto the airport was bliss.

The advisory from Virgin and US customs was that this facility was to remain closed for the forseeable future.

A shame as it's handy, but if it makes air travel safer then so be it !
