Downtown Disney are hotel info needed

Hello all,

Just wondering which non Disney property hotels, close to Downtown Disney, would people recommend? This is for a pre cruise honeymoon stay for 1 night and while room rate is secondary, the more important factor is which hotel has the most reliable "free" shuttle service to WDW?

The 7 downtown Disney area hotels all share a free bus service to the parks that runs every 30 minutes. This is probably the best park transportation you are going to find staying in a non-Disney owned hotel. (With the exception of the Swan/Dolphin which use the actual Disney transportation.) You will also be walking distance to downtown Disney. You can find the 7 hotels here:

I haven't stayed in any of them as of yet, but will be staying in the Doubletree Suites in 2 weeks. I can let you know how it was after I return.
