Down to CBR and CSR

Really can't decide for our thanksgiving vacation. Please sway me one way or the other. Thanks!

I don't know how much my opinion will mean here, as I've only stayed at CSR so far, but i've done lots of research about CBR as my family will be staying there in August.
We absolutely loved CSR, the only downside being the size.
We loved walking around and exploring, but getting from the bus stop to our room at midnight every night after a long day in the parks wasn't our favorite part of the day.
Of course it would be easier if we had been closer, but we noticed quite a few people with small children having the same problem.
Obviously if you aren't travelling with children or don't plan on spending long days in the parks, this won't be an issue, but this is the only problem we had there.
On the other hand, it seems as if CBR might be even larger (one website said 75 acres larger but i'm not sure if this is correct), but it's not looking like this will be an issue since CBR has the internal busses.
Anyway, CSR was beautiful and CBR looks beautiful, so i'm sure you'll have a great trip in either, but I think it just depends on who you're travelling with, and yours or your families preference!

I have stayed at both and to be honest I thought I walked alot less at the CSR. I am pretty sure that the CBR is bigger, I know that there are more bus stops at the CBR but I enjoyed the CSR much more than the CBR.
I stayed in Casitas #4 which was very close to the bus stop that was first on the pick up and drop off. I was also right next to the quiet pool. The main pool was a short walk away. The bus transportation at the CSR was the best I have ever experienced.
I loved the themeing more at the CSR and I liked the food at the foodcourt better too.
You will get pros and cons for each resort.

I would say CSR becasue of the 2 that is my favorite. It is large but has so much atmosphere. It is a little ways to the bus stops, depending on where your room is, but we loved the resort. The Pepper Market is really nice. You will get varying opinions on that. The resort is also gorgeous at night! The pool is wonderful and very large. Check to make sure that the CBR pool will be open when you are there, that may help to make your decision (it is under remodel). We have stayed at CBR too and enjoyed it but I think I prefer CSR.

Whichever you choose have a great trip!

Well we are going to CBR in August and that looks beautiful,

But in 2006 we stayed at CSR and we had a FABULOUS time.

I don't know if this is a big help....

CBR surrounds a 45 acre lake and CSR surrounds a 15 acre lake. It's twice the size.

In August 2008? The main pool will still be closed at CBR.

We say CSR because it is our favorite. CBR is tied for last with POR for our least favorite moderates. Although we've never stayed, we visited and the themeing just wasn't us (if I want the beach, I'll go to the ocean) and we ate at the CBR food court at 1:30 in the afternoon ande there were two stations open which turnedn us off and I got sick on the cheeseburger I ate.

Have stayed at CBR and CSR, and liked the CSR more. We stayed in Casita 4 with the quiet pool, and loved the casita section very much. The theming is great there. Plus there is a very good variety in the food court.

Have stayed at both and CSR is far better than CBR. We generally drive our own car to the parks. Don't have to wait for busses or stops and the parking is free at the parks just show your resort pass. You can grab dinner afterward outside the park and free yourselves of the "mickey burger" menu if your short on advanced reservations and/or $$$.

We have stayed at both. Stayed at CBR for many years when our son was younger and it holds SO many memories. We now stay at CSR. I have to say between the two CSR has a MUCH better food court and the pool area is awesome. They too have quiet pools. We enjoy staying in the Cabana area. Perhaps it reminds us a bit of CBR. So my vote goes to CSR.

I have never stayed at CSR but have stayed at CBR last July as part of our land/sea package and my family and I didn't like CBR at all. The resort is just too big. We enjoy staying at POP (so far that is)
