My mother bought me one for...gosh...I can't remember if it was birthday or Christmas, but at any rate, I just love it! It's got all those interior and exterior pockets and is so easy to keep everything organized. It's a great bag!

Anyway, you do not need a new park bag because you have a couple of great choices, and you do not want to spend potential souvenir money before the trip. If you want a new bag, wait until Disney and get one of those great Dooney and Bourke wristlets that could then double as a wallet that you could toss into your work bag in the mornings when you get back.

We certainly did have a great Christmas. Everything seems so quiet and empty now, and that's with the girls still here.
When they leave tomorrow, I will really be lost.

What former Disney attraction/ride/parade/fireworks/etc that you NEVER experienced do you wish you could?

Jen - Horizons.

I don't even know what Horizons was...who can explain it to me?

Leslie - Disney Stars and Motorcars Parade at MGM.

I have the Music in the Streets Disney CD and they have the parade music and I so wish I could see it! Do you think Disney would let me purchase that Mary Poppins car? I think I'd look pretty snazzy driving around town in it.

I youtubed Horizons once and I listened to the audiotrack quite a few times and I would just love to ride on it, seems very SSE to me, just think it would be my cup of tea.

Of course in a close second came the 20000 Leagues under the sea submarine LOL!!! That would be a very cool ride and I'm jealous of Leslie since I know she has ridden that!!! LOL!!!

Horizons...I don't remember much about it but I do remember that at the end, sort of like what they do on SSE now, is you got to choose your ending, like where you would want to live or explore or something. I would always pick the ocean. LOL. Yeah, it's been a loooong time.

As for an extinct attraction I'd like to do, I might have to agree with 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Jen, I know I rode Horizons when Epcot first opened when we went in February, 1982, but it must not have made a lasting impression on me because I don't remember it at all.

LL, love the Mary Poppins car -- it's just perfect for you! As far as bags, take a little book with you into the parks!

What ride do I wish I had ridden before it closed? Hmmm, I think I wish I had experienced Alien Encounter. It had to have been better than Stitch's Great Escape, and I am always intrigued when I read about how scary it was.
