We are leaving on Friday and the weather report shows rain/thunderstorms the ENTIRE time!!!! This happened on our last trip, it rained EVERY SINGLE DAY...a less than stellar trip sloshing through water.:sad2::sad2::sad2:

I know...we will make the best of it. I was just hoping that we would have a couple days of sunshine this time.:sad1:

That's pretty typical for this time of year. We are going down today, and I expect pop up thundershowers every day, but I'm sure there will be plenty of sunshine as well.

I hope you have a great trip!

Orlando summer weather calling for rain every day is typical. In fact, it almost always says rain every day for this time of year. Typically these are not all day events like the spring.. but a big storm in the afternoon that cools things down temporarily and lightens the crowds quite a bit:thumbsup2

Grab a poncho and don't worry. We had some big storms last summer. Only 2 of the 10 days that they were called for! And to be honest I would have preferred them every day like they were predicting for a little more relief from the heat. Honestly.. I'd be suprised if you guys got anything like your last trip:):)

The past 3 summers late July each of our 10 days was between 30 - 70 % rain every day. We only had a couple of days with a pop up afternoon shower that would be over as quick as it started.

Don't worry and have a great trip :goodvibes

2 years ago, we were at WDW July 25-Aug 2, and it really did thundershower every day, and longer than a few minutes. It did put a slight damper on certain things; we were there for a friend's wedding, and I think she had an outdoor dessert reception at Epcot planned for during Illuminations that had to be moved indoors. Also, we have many vacation photos of us posing with princesses, characters, etc., at restaurants where we are soaked in th pictures.

No matter, though. We still had a wonderful time. We kept our WDW ponchos, and will bring them back to use again in 2 weeks.

One recommendation, if you have a stroller, invest in a rain cover for it. We'd leave the stroller in the parking area to go on a ride, only to exit the ride to a massive downpour. Those children who had to climb into wet strollers were not thrilled, but ours was dry. We always covered it when we left it, even if the sky was clear- these rainstorms come on quickly!
