Doubletree Suites on WDW property

We stayed @ DT DTD a few years ago 2 years in a row. The hotel was nice, liked the location, and we like staying there but they raised the rates which prompted us to rent a condo and now will not go back to a hotel (but I digress and that is a whole different topic). The hotel restaurant service was not very desirable, but there are too many other restaurants in the area to not miss if you have a car.

Earl of Sandwich. I've heard good things about Raglan Rd and we're planning on trying it out this next time.

We've eaten at House of Blues twice but that was several years ago. I like the Rain Forest but it's been 8 years since I've been there.

So I guess the only thing that I can definitely recommend is Earl of Sandwich.

Hey PGH...We are going in July with our 4 kids...ages 18 17 11 & 8. Are we going to have enough room? Your pics are great....they show a better size of the rooms...the website makes them look bigger...lol (of course). We spend a good amount of time at the pool on our down days...how is the pool? We usually stay at POP but going to try DT this year....I walked to it last year from DTD to rent a car at budget so I seen a tiny bit of it...shud have asked to see a room.
