We have an April visit to SW and DC planned and will be staying at the Doubletree (found a great rate for spring break week). Couple of questions....first has anyone stayed there and have any suggestions for us? (like what type or location of room to request, etc). How was the hotel? Reviews on trip advisor were pretty good but other than that I have not heard anything first hand. Do all of the rooms have a frig and microwave?

Second question is about good dining options near the hotel or at SW??....we will not have a car but are there any excellent places to eat within walking distance or inside SW? DH always likes to have a nice dinner and I am not too sure what is near the hotel.

Is it easier to walk to SW or take the shuttle from the hotel?
Thanks for the help.

As far as your dinner options go......the SeaWorld hotels have easy access to the I-Ride Trolley. The trolley is very cost effective and would be a great way to get to a ton of dining options on International Drive.......think of you favourite chain and I can almost guarantee its there. Olive Garden, TGI Fridays, Chili's, Golden Corral, Buffalo Wild Wing......and a million more.

Another fun option near SeaWorld which I highly recommend is the Outta Control Dinner Show. Its an awewome show with a little magic, a little comedy, all you can eat pizza/popcorn/salad/cake, and unlimited beverages including alcohol. At $22.99 per adult, the price can't be beat. We went in August and had an AMAZING time (you can see my August trip report in my signature for full info and lots of photos). And you could easily get there via the trolley :thumbsup2 .
