Doubletree or Holiday Inn

We are going on and a cruise in May with some friends and have decided that we would like to stay outside of Universal the night before and explore City Walk. Can anyone reccomend Doubletree or Holiday Inn? Both are just outside of the entrance to Universal. I want to hear the good and the bad please.

hey there! Iv stayed in the Holiday Inn before and I loved it! Especially for Universal!

Holiday inn have a universal desk in the place, u can get great deals! staff r very helpful 2!

they also have free regular shuttles to universal and back!

ALso.... if u request for a room in the tower block , u can get a view of islands of adventure from ur hotel room!!

oh also,
its $5 in taxi from Universal to the holiday inn!
