Looking for a 4 night stay to do USO & premium outlets before we go to Disney & a good offer of £174 + 11% quidco as come up with hotels4U. Apart from one other companies are asking nearly £500.
Anyone stayed here?

Not personally but heard good things. It really is walking distance to Univeral and there are lots of good value restaurants nearby. I would happily book there - assuming that is a TOTAL price?!

Thanks Kath. Double checked price & it's £173 + quidco (I had the cheek to look for a promotion code). Seems the perfect spot for what we need. We walked from Universal to wnw last year as you had suggested & actually loved it.

We have also stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton - they have some good deals on at the moment. It is literally opposite Wet n Wild so a 10 minute walk from Universal but excellent transport links as you are on I-Drive. It's a very nice hotel and we would stay again - we stopped staying there because the prices went bonkers (it's worth around £40-50/night, a few years ago they started wanting £90+ per night - they seem to have now realised as I've seen them floating back round the £40 mark again!!). If you'd rather stay on I-Drive, the Rosen properties seem good value at the moment. Most are £40 or under.

What dates you looking for? Hotels4u are not usually the cheapest.

Never stayed there but have stayed at the Holiday Inn at the gates of Universal and it's nice. They have a TGI Friday's attached as well so you don't need to go far for food

27/8-31/8. I've checked on a few and hotels4u are coming up much cheaper! We were going to stay on site but as it's just for shopping and us/ IOA, didn't think it was worth it. I've checked hotels.com, booking.com, lowcosthptels, Expedia, enookers. The dearest is£556.60!!!!

With cashback I don't see any cheaper without spending loads of time searching the lesser known sites, cheapest I see is Skoosh at £166.30 but they are not on cashback sites.
Price might drop a little nearer but you will not save a great deal its a fair price for that hotel.:goodvibes

Checked Hotels4u, looks like it could have dropped to £170 this morning but cashback is only 5.5%.

Thanks Wayne. We booked last night for £173, should have been 11% cash back but only £9.52 tracked, will raise a query. Still £162.48 is a good price, even better than what we would need to spend on HRH!
