Doubletree Downtown Disney

My family of 5 stayed there for a few nights (5?) a while back and it worked out fine for us. We had the free breakfast deal from Mousesavers or Allears.net, and that was very nice. Our suite had 2 queens and a pull-out, plus kitchenette and dining area. Nice pool area, easy drive. (Only used Disney transportation once, and it was horrendous.) Actually did a bounceback anniversary trip a few months later. Biggest drawback was only one bathroom. Have since gotten spoiled by pool homes with multiple baths and separate bedrooms. Best wishes!

We stayed in a one bedroom suite for one night in October. I think our rate was around $130 or so, which was fine for the room. My kids enjoyed the pool and we were pretty happy with the poolside bar. Ate dinner by the pool too and it was very good as I recall. I would have reserved our pre-wdw nights there for our next trip in April but my kids discovered the pool at Marriot Horizons. No suite, but hey, there is a pirate ship in the pool, lol.
