Just got an email from Mousesavers for Doubletree Downtown Disney for 89.00 a night

Me too! I have never stayed there. How is it?

I have never stayed there but the regular rates are normally double that. I went for it for 2 nights for that rate and in July. We are staying onsite but wanted 2 days additional without spending our DVC points I figure it can't be bad. The parking fee is bummer IMO. they charge like 10.00 a night parking.

I was thinking about this too-for August. We usually book CL at the WL but for $79 per night we can get a 2 bedroom suite. Not sure that I want to book "off" Disney property though, even though it's close.

I dont think it would be equal to CL at WL but for a couple nights here or there I think it might be o.k.

if you give me your email I'll forward it to you. we backed out of the deal after reading about charges for parking and internet and them only having dbl size beds as the offer on travelzoo for Radisson seems better to us with queen beds and free internet and parking is free too
