Double the Anniversaries, Double the Fun! Jan 2013 PTR | TR HAS STARTED! 2/13

I'm glad I read that as my dinner is in the oven...everything looks so yummy!

 I was with my boss in Toronto and I said I needed to "hail a cab" and he made fun of me. I tried to explain to him that it was a real thing...he didn't believe me!

Ok, hands down, NOTHING has made me want to visit NY more than what you just posted. BIG GAY ICE CREAM?!?!? I'm THERE! Totally there. Must schedule a trip, right now!

Now that I'm drooling over your ice cream, dinner, and pastries, I'm going to go to sleep hungry. My only saving grace is that I will be in WDW in 18 days!

That ice cream...OMG. Caramel, salt, chocolate, and ice cream!?! Are you kidding me!?! Plus, unicorns are a plus, and inappropriate names also get bonus points from me:thumbsup2.

I don't recall the "Beach Club Smell," as I've only been there for dinner once, but now I want to order some of that just to smell it. Disney smells are the best...I mean, if I think bathrooms smell good, I'm sure lobbies have to be spectacular :rotfl2::lmao:!

YAY for 3 months! AND 1 month! :cheer2:

I think you missed my comment from your last update!

Hahah I remember you tweeting a lot that day! First about your BC smell, then about your horse head ice cream cone! :lmao:

I'm so glad you got to spend some time with your friend! That's always so great.

Let's just talk about that Napoleon and how stinking delicious it looks.

Great Halloween decorations you have.
In Norway they have misunderstood the whole Halloween thing. Everyone seem to think that everything has to be as scary and bloody as possible. Kids go to peoples houses and throw eggs on the house or vandalize their propperty in other ways.

I know it's not what halloween is ment to be. I got to experience one halloween as a child.

Okay, so sorry! I somehow accidentally missed your comment when I went to reply!

That's such a bummer about Halloween in Norway! I definitely see a LOT of the bloody scary stuff here, too, so it's hard to find kid-friendly decorations sometimes!

Thankfully (knock on wood) we haven't run into any issues with vandalism or stealing our stuff. I hope it stays that way; so many nice people on Halloween express how much they love our house all decorated. Makes all the cost and trouble of setting up totally worth it! :goodvibes

I have to admit something... I'm really not a fan of Halloween. :duck: I've just never liked scary stuff, so in my perfect world the entire world's Halloween would be just like Disney's, aka NOTSOSCARY. (I'm not a fan of Halloween but am dying to go to that party. Go figure, right?) THAT being said, yall's house looks so cute! Love the non-scary decorations! I'm a big fan of the fall season and pumpkins and harvesty stuff! Btw, I can't believe it was so cold for yall that day! It's still in the 70's and humid here hahaha.

Yes, you should go in October 2013. I just think it's necessary.

AHH I'm SO sorry! I have no idea how your comment didn't get "quoted" or whatever it is. LAME.

So, it's okay, because I don't like scary stuff either. BUT, that's why we keep our house as not scary as possible! But it's hard to find decorations that aren't stupid scary and whatnot. UGH.

We're totally planning on piping the Haunted Mansion music though on loop outside of our door on Halloween. I thought of this genius idea and I'm SUPER excited about it! :yay:

I am hoping that if we go on another trip in 2013, it'll be during the MNSSHP! That's when we're planning on going and I will be SO excited about it if we get to go to the party!

I am in love with the weather right now! Cold and fally and perfect... And yes, I'm between September and October for our potential 2nd 2013 trip! :yay:

That ice cream looks delicious

Oh my gosh, it was delicious! I wish I'd thought of that idea myself to do the caramel and salt under the chocolate candy dip! YUM!

OMG that is so wonderful. I will have to buy that scent! Luckily I am leaving for Disney in 3 days so I will get to smell the real deal!!!!! AHH I'm so excited!!! YAY for one month and 3 months to go on your trips!!

Yes, you totally should! It's so perfect for when you're having a bad day and need to go to your happy place!

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW JEALOUS I AM OF YOU RIGHT NOW!! You're just leaving for Disney like, SO super soon! I can't wait to read all about it when you get back. HAVE AN AMAZING TIME!

SO TRUE about the bagels. I never knew that everywhere didn't have bagels like this. And then I would travel and be so confused. I'm so happy to be born in the land of the best bagels!!! LOL.

Hahaha, your bagels are the BEST! Nowhere else compares when it comes to NY bagels!

How have I never heard of this ice cream shop? It sounds like my kind of place. I'm def gonna have to stop by there when I'm back from my trip.

You totally should go! It used to be an ice cream truck, but now it's a little shop! SO GOOD, and obviously amazing!

SO glad you got to experience the East Village. It always kills my soul a little when people visit and only hit the tourist attractions. I'm like, YOU'RE MISSING OUT ON THE BEST PART!! AHH!! Doing it with a friend who lives/has lived there is really the best way to see any city. Next time, you should check out the West Village/Tribeca area too. And Little Italy! I can provide endless recommendations, if they are needed! :D

I know! I was so happy to see a different part of New York City. Such a cool area! I will definitely come to you for recommendations next time I have to travel to NYC for work again, which I'm sure will be sometime next year (hoping to do another trip in maybe early November 2013!)..

I'm glad I read that as my dinner is in the oven...everything looks so yummy!

 I was with my boss in Toronto and I said I needed to "hail a cab" and he made fun of me. I tried to explain to him that it was a real thing...he didn't believe me!

Haha, there is nothing worse than when you read someone's TR update and you're STARVING and you see all of this amazing food! Glad you had dinner in the oven. :rotfl:

Hahaha, hailing a cab is serious business! I mean, it's not like in Seattle where you can call for a cab to pick you up. I felt like such a goober because I was hailing a taxi like you see in the movies and had no idea if I was doing it right! I was just waiting to have a similar experience to Steve Martin's character in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. :rotfl:

Ok, hands down, NOTHING has made me want to visit NY more than what you just posted. BIG GAY ICE CREAM?!?!? I'm THERE! Totally there. Must schedule a trip, right now!

Now that I'm drooling over your ice cream, dinner, and pastries, I'm going to go to sleep hungry. My only saving grace is that I will be in WDW in 18 days!

AHH YAY! I'm glad you got as excited as I did about this ice cream shop! Seriously, it was the best! :rotfl: And the ice cream was SO good, perfect ice cream shop in my eyes!

Um, I'm just going to sit over here and be CRAZY jealous of your trip in 18 days.. wait no, less than 18 days now! EEEE I am so excited for you guys! :yay:

That ice cream...OMG. Caramel, salt, chocolate, and ice cream!?! Are you kidding me!?! Plus, unicorns are a plus, and inappropriate names also get bonus points from me:thumbsup2.

I don't recall the "Beach Club Smell," as I've only been there for dinner once, but now I want to order some of that just to smell it. Disney smells are the best...I mean, if I think bathrooms smell good, I'm sure lobbies have to be spectacular :rotfl2::lmao:!

YAY for 3 months! AND 1 month! :cheer2:

YES! It was just the perfect combination for an excellent ice cream experience!

Ummm, next trip, go back and just smell that lobby. It's the BEST smell, and I'm fairly certain you would love it. If you love the smell of the bathroom, then BC will just knock you off your feet! :rotfl:

I can't believe how soon our trips are. I'm just dying over here! :yay:

I think you missed my comment from your last update!

Hahah I remember you tweeting a lot that day! First about your BC smell, then about your horse head ice cream cone! :lmao:

I'm so glad you got to spend some time with your friend! That's always so great.

Let's just talk about that Napoleon and how stinking delicious it looks.

Yeah, I'm kind of the worst. I went back and replied to it though!

Hahahaha, yes, it was such a good day! I was just tweeting up a storm about my excitement for BC scent and amazing ice cream that looked like a horse head, haha.

That Napoleon was outta this world delish! I will make sure to visit that pastry shop every visit going forward, seriously!

This is the final update of my mini-East Coast Tour TR! I thank you guys for reading along and hope you enjoyed it!

So! AJ and I went to work as normal, except THIS morning it had to be like… 75 but with 100% humidity.

It was… DISGUSTING.

By the time we got to the office, we were both drenched in sweat. :crazy2:

Here I was, thinking by going to New York in October, I’d be enjoying the crisp fall weather. Uh, nope, it was grossly warm and so so humid. A definite reminder of what I don’t miss about the east coast and its weather. Yuck!

Anyway, we worked through the day, and decided to leave the office early so we could go do some more shopping, of course.

We started walking up from W 39th towards W 50th, which NORMALLY wouldn’t be a terrible walk but with the humidity, we were both feeling icky by the time we made it up there.

But nonetheless, I was excited to spot Radio City Music Hall!

file-122.jpg

We made our way up a little further to… NBC Studios!

file-123.jpg

I was very excited to go here, because I love the show 30 Rock, and also because I really wanted to go to the NBC Store.

Touristy as heck? You bet! But I knew they had a few awesome items from TV shows we love that I wanted to pick up.

I ended up getting Matt this awesome Community t-shirt, and myself a Greendale Community College hoodie.

If you couldn’t tell, we love the show Community.

file-140.jpg

I almost bought a Li’l Sebastian t-shirt for myself (any Parks and Rec fans?), but thought a hoodie would be a better choice for $10 more.

I kind of rushed through the store since I knew AJ wasn’t really interested, but it was a pretty huge store with TONS of stuff from every NBC show you could think of.

After I bought our stuff, AJ and I walked outside to Rockefeller Plaza, trying to figure out where our next stop exactly was.

file-124.jpg

file-125.jpg

We asked a security guy nearby and he pointed it out to us… We made our way down the street, and passed by where they film the Today show.

I almost entirely missed it because of how small it is! Seriously, for some reason I thought that studio/area would be WAY bigger! But it was neat passing by it and seeing it.

Before we knew it, we were walking up to…

file-126.jpg

NINTENDO WORLD! As you know, I’m a huge video game nerd, and so is AJ, so we were both very excited to go here!

They had lots of neat items, from Goomba backpacks to Link plushes to a really cool display of Link from Zelda comprised of photos of fans…

file-127.jpg

file-130.jpg

file-131.jpg

I ended up getting Matt a plush Metaknight and myself a Koopa shell plush.

file-128.jpg

The awesome thing about that Koopa Shell is it actually makes noises when you press this little button on it.

I don’t know how many of you guys remember it from Super Mario, but you know the noise where you kick a Koopa shell and knock 7 enemies in a row and then get a 1Up?

It makes the noise if you click on it, each click building up to the 1Up sound! Sorry if that’s confusing, but hopefully someone knows what I’m talking about, hahaha.

AJ picked up a few things, as well, then we headed out of the store with lots of goodies in hand.

At this point our plan was to next walk up to FAO Schwartz and see that area, but we were both feeling so gross from the humidity that the thought of another 10 block walk was NOT something either of us really wanted to do.

So instead, we decided to head back to our hotel to freshen up and then go out and get some dinner for our last night in the city!

After we dropped our stuff off in our rooms, and I changed into something a lot comfier and cleaned up, we met in the lobby, trying to figure out where to go for dinner nearby.

The concierge told us about a nearby Irish pub called Annie Moore’s, that was a block away, so we decided to head there in hopes of it being halfway decent.

The outside was pretty neat-looking, so we hoped that meant good things for our dinner!

file-133.jpg

We walked into a PACKED bar area, but made our way past a lot of people in suits to the dining area and were seated really quickly.

As soon as we sat down, I got excited about the little paper placemat in front of me.

file-134.jpg

I think this might be an east coast thing (because I never notice them out here), but growing up a lot of restaurants we went to had the paper placemats and this just made me nostalgic for some reason, haha.

Anyway, we ordered potato skins as an appetizer, and they were DELICIOUS! So delicious, in fact, that we ate them before I remembered to take a photo. Wompwomp.

However, I DID remember to take a photo of my Fish ‘n Chips… which were REALLY good.

file-135.jpg

I liked that they weren’t super greasy/in a thick batter. No, these were LARGE pieces of fish.

AJ got a burger of some sort and it was massive. We were both VERY happy with our meals and were glad we ended up going there.

We chatted a lot about our trip and just work in general. It was good time to bond with him; he’s the newest member on my team so it’s always good to have time to chat one-on-one.

I actually sort of knew him before he starting working with me, as he’s actually Bruce’s (yes, the one joining us on our WDW trip) younger brother. Matt put in his resume... and he ended up getting the job, haha.

Fun fact: Matt has referred FIVE people (including me) who eventually were hired at our company!

We joke around about how he has brought in so many people, haha… and has racked up a decent chunk of money/referral rewards through the years.

Anyway, with our stomachs full of delightful food, we headed out and realized that we were standing right in front of Grand Central Station!

file-136.jpg

We then walked back to our hotel, and sat in the lobby for a bit while waiting for the gift shop to re-open.

file-137.jpg

file-138.jpg

We both grabbed $5.00 bottles of water (insane, right?! At least they were 32 ounce bottles!), and headed up to our rooms.

I ended up watching Survivor while I packed up everything, then took a shower, Facetimed with Matt, then headed to bed.

I apologize for the lack of photos for our final day, but it was kind of a whirlwind day, sooo yeah.

Next morning, I grabbed all of my luggage and did express checkout, then met AJ in the lobby so we could grab a cab to work.

There was no way we were going to walk to work with all of our luggage! We got a taxi, then worked until our car picked us up at 1 to take us to the airport.

We thanked the NYC team for showing us a great time, then hopped in our car and were whisked off to JFK to head home!

Surprisingly, our driver was really awesome and knew some shortcuts, getting us to the airport rather quickly. He was a LOT better than most taxi drivers, but cost the same exact amount!

Next time I go to NYC, I think I’ll be calling for a car instead of a taxi, as he was also really friendly, too!

Anyway, AJ and I got some lunch together in the terminal, then hung out and worked in the airport (yay free wifi!) until our flight finally boarded.

We were both seated in aisle seats next to each other which was nice, buuuut unfortunately our flight was stuck on the runway for over an HOUR due to bad weather. :headache:

UGH, what a bummer. Our 6 hour flight turned into more of a 7 hour flight, and you know what I did for 7 hours? I’m kind of ashamed to admit this but…

I watched 7 hours of Jersey Shore. :rolleyes1

I love watching TV show marathons when flying, aaaand somehow got sucked into watching Jersey Shore for the ENTIRE FLIGHT. I will say, it did make the flight go by way faster! Now if only JetBlue would have direct flights to Orlando…

Before I knew it, I was yelling with delight when I saw Matt waiting for me outside in the waiting area! :yay:

I was SO HAPPY to see him and be HOME after 9 days! I’m fairly certain I sang a little song and told Matt 10 times how happy I was to be home! :yay:

My doggies were quite happy when they saw me; Milo had a look of disbelief until he finally snapped out of it and started sniffing and wagging his little tail. Anya did her usual “ROAARRRRARARAR” talking that she does, while wagging her tail in excitement.

I really enjoyed spending time with my family and seeing New York for the first time, but good lord was I happy to finally be home! :goodvibes

.............

I hope you guys enjoyed my mini-TR! It was fun writing it and sharing a little slice of my real life with you guys.

I’m sure I’ll have an update soon about our Disney trips. Our Disneyland trip is getting so close, it’ll be here before we know it! I feel like I have lots of research and planning to do now that we’re so close!

OH! Before I end this, I must show off my new iPhone cover. I needed a new one because my lovely Tangled one had chipped on the sides. This one makes me very happy:

file-144.jpg

Alsooo I just bought these fabulous little sock slippers at Target yesterday. Seriously, these are adorable! And they have Minnie ones, too!

file-145.jpg

Okay, I swear I’m done babbling now. Can’t wait to share more updates with you guys soon!

I loved loved loved reading about your trip to NYC! :goodvibes My husband has been a few times, and he says he can't wait to take me - I can't wait to go! I'm glad you had a wonderful time, and thank you for sharing some of your "personal life" with us!!!

Thank you for sharing your trip with us! And it was even educational with the story of Annie Moore;) I know you were glad to be home with Matt and "the kids" though.

AHHHH I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR COMMUNITY SHIRTS!!!! I was actually in the city today - my wallet is very lucky I didn't know those were for sale!! :rotfl: And a Lil' Sebastian shirt sounds amazing as well!!! (Community and Parks and Rec are my two favorite shows!)

I'm sorry to hear your time in the Northeast was so gross and humid! :crazy2:

Hahaha I totally would have watched a 7 hour marathon of Jersey Shore too. I have absolutely no shame about that either! :thumbsup2

(I had to just watch this clip, and I figured it's something you'd want to see as well.)

ooo, love the new iPhone case! (though I'm sad about your tangled one-love that scene!) Plus, we really enjoyed reading about NYC, seeing a play on broadway is definitely on our bucket list here, so it was fun to see lots of pics around the city. Thanks for sharing with us! :goodvibes

Your New York work trip sounds like you were able to have some fun along with work. My last business trip, we flew in to Birmingham, slept in a hotel, went to a board meeting, and flew back to Philly. No time for sightseeing :sad1:

Welcome to the everchanging weather of the East Coast. Well, below New England, anyway... it could be 45 degrees with frost on the cars one day, and 70 with 100% humidity the next. There's just no predicting. Maybe one day I will get over to the West Coast... Your pictures make it look so fabulous!

Of COURSE I know the sounds on Super Mario! That is too cool!!! I used to be able to beat the whole game in 9 minutes or something. (well, with warping...isn't that what it was called? You are making me feel old now. LOL) My favorite game of all time. :rotfl:

I LOVED the mini TR! Thank you so much for sharing. Sorry it took so long to get home, but it sounds like you had a great trip. LOVE the case, I keep putting off getting a new case for my phone b/c I'm getting a new phone soon.

Disneyland is right around the corner for ya!!! :dance3:

Bahaha, welcome back to the east coast! It only started cooling down here a few days ago. I'm so used to humidity that when I went to the west coast I honestly felt like someone was directing a hair dryer at me with that dry heat. Eeeesh! We're used to what we're used to, ya know? :goodvibes

Glad you enjoyed your dinner! It was fun reading about your NYC trip!

Oh gosh, one time I tried to watch Jersey Shore. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Let's just say... I stopped watching after like three minutes. :lmao:

That's really, really sad about your Tangled phone case... but I like your new one too! :)

I want to say that I love EVERYTHING about this update!

That noise? I know that noise!!! I think your description was spot on. I get it, and I want one. That Link made out of fan photos made me tear up a little; it's that kind of amazing.

Also love the Community shirt/hoodie! That store, though touristy, would be awesome to behold.

See, I didn't realize there are places that *don't* have paper placemats! I mean, Les Chefs has them, too, right? Doesn't that make the east coast really cultured?!?

Most importantly--I HAVE TO HAVE THOSE SOCK/SLIPPERS! Thank you for indulging two of my obsessions, Mickey and slippers. My husband will thank you, I'm sure.

Omg!!! I love your Mickey sock slippers!!!!!!!, I might just have to hop in my car and head to my Target!!! I so hope they have them here!

You must have been so happy to be home, 9 days is a long time away...I actually thought of you this past weekend, haha not stalking!! We drove thru Boston to Walpole and saw the building with the LOCK!! But, the lock wasn't on the building. My husband said, oh they must have taken it down, when I replied "my inside source tells me kids shoot bb's at it so it deflates" .he was impressed I knew that...lol

Thanks for sharing your Mini-trip with us! It was cool to read about your adventures in NY!

Ok... just caught up on your last NYC posts... chock full of good info...

(I'm home in bed today... I had a small out patient surgery yesterday... no biggie but the anesthesia didn't agree with me... but all is good... down day... good tea in new owl mug-love owls...:goodvibes, have the first season of Community to watch on DVD...(saw already but not on DVD) so I can just marathon through it... also actually broke down and actually bought Babel on disc instead of just downloading it so I can download it all over...plus play it on the computer while on here...things could be worse...;)

Anyhow I had to take a couple of notes while I was reading so I could try some of these places you went to in NY...

Btw... Bryant Park has a really nice outdoor Christmas market if you're ever there during December...

Yum for an Everything Bagel... they're so good you can eat them plain...

I've seen the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck on the Food Network... they've either just gotten successful enough to get real estate or maybe have the truck and the shop... Wow... there are few combos that can beat vanilla, carmel, salt & chocolate...

Mayarhuels looks really fun---have to check out...

Ditto- Venieros -always on the look out for a good cannoli :thumbsup2

Ha Ha... coming from the Pacific Northwest... Humidity must seem hellish to you... (I've lived here my whole life and it seems hellish to me too...;)

Rockefeller Plaza is a great place... if you ever get a chance... Top of the Rock has really great views...better imho than the Empire State Building... even though I love the ESB-it's so iconic... I feel the views are better at the Top of the Rock...

Hmmm... Have to get into the Rock store... need some shirts

Ditto Target... want those socks...

Also writing down Annie Moores... have to check out...

Thank you to a Seattler for some great New York tips...:thumbsup2

so let me just tell you, my wife and I are on a diet and when i saw the fish and chips I almost said "the heck with it". We are hoping to reach our target weight before we go to Disney so we can the celibate all week long!!!!

so let me just tell you, my wife and I are on a diet and when i saw the fish and chips I almost said "the heck with it". We are hoping to reach our target weight before we go to Disney so we can the celibate all week long!!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!! This is MY husband, and clearly doesn't know how to spell...he wants to "celebrate" not be "celibate" (though with our daughter on an air mattress between our double beds, this is also a distinct possibility! :rolleyes1 )

When I saw what he posted and told him, we died laughing... :lmao:

I loved loved loved reading about your trip to NYC! :goodvibes My husband has been a few times, and he says he can't wait to take me - I can't wait to go! I'm glad you had a wonderful time, and thank you for sharing some of your "personal life" with us!!!

Aww hooray! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! It was really awesome and I hope you get to go with your husband!

And of course! I always worry my normal life stuff is boring but I'm also one of those people who loves to get to know other people on the DIS, so I'm happy people are cool with my little mini real life updates, haha.

Thank you for sharing your trip with us! And it was even educational with the story of Annie Moore;) I know you were glad to be home with Matt and "the kids" though.

Of course! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and also learned so much about Annie Moore. :rotfl: I didn't even notice that until you said something! Haha... and yes, I was happy to be home with my little family. Fun trip, but definitely was ready to be at home. :goodvibes

(I had to just watch this clip, and I figured it's something you'd want to see as well.)

YESS! HIGH FIVE to you for being a Community AND Parks and Rec fan! That store could've done some serious damage to my wallet, haha.

Haha, well I mean, growing up in Boston I know how gross the summers/humidity can be... but that weather was just NOT what I was prepared for in October!

I got SO sucked in to that stupid marathon! :rotfl:

Bahaha, I watched that video with Matt and would be laughed really hard. I love that show so much. :cloud9:

ooo, love the new iPhone case! (though I'm sad about your tangled one-love that scene!) Plus, we really enjoyed reading about NYC, seeing a play on broadway is definitely on our bucket list here, so it was fun to see lots of pics around the city. Thanks for sharing with us! :goodvibes

Thanks! I love it, too... but yes, I'm sad about the Tangled one being retired. :sad1: I still have it though, just in case I decide to switch them out!

I'm glad you guys enjoyed my NYC mini-TR! It really is a cool city to visit, very different than Seattle but fun to see for sure. :goodvibes

Your New York work trip sounds like you were able to have some fun along with work. My last business trip, we flew in to Birmingham, slept in a hotel, went to a board meeting, and flew back to Philly. No time for sightseeing :sad1:

Yeah, I definitely was able to have some fun! Granted, work was actually pretty stressful while I was there due to it being the beginning of a new month... but overall I had a good time!

That doesn't sound like a very fun trip for you. Wompwomp.

Haha, I recall New England's lovely weather... Growing up in Boston, I experienced some insane weather.. just not used to that humidity in Seattle, aaat all! You should totally come to the west coast; it's so beautiful here!! :yay:

Of COURSE I know the sounds on Super Mario! That is too cool!!! I used to be able to beat the whole game in 9 minutes or something. (well, with warping...isn't that what it was called? You are making me feel old now. LOL) My favorite game of all time. :rotfl:

I LOVED the mini TR! Thank you so much for sharing. Sorry it took so long to get home, but it sounds like you had a great trip. LOVE the case, I keep putting off getting a new case for my phone b/c I'm getting a new phone soon.

Disneyland is right around the corner for ya!!! :dance3:

HAHA I was hoping someone would recognize what the heck I was talking about! If we're talking warping, then you're talking either about Super Mario 3 with the warp whistle! Or well, then there's also the warp pipes in the original, too, hahaha. I am such a dork!

YAY! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!! It took way too long to get home but it was worth it in the end. And I love my case, too! We'll probably get the iPhone 5 at some point, but I don't think it'll be for a few more months, so I figured we could get our new cases now!

OMG, no kidding. I can't believe how close it is. I am so so excited though. :yay:
