Double Stroller Rental-storage

Looking into renting a double stroller (not the park ones) from Kingdom or Magic Strollers for my daughter who is 2. We technically only need a single but noticed the storage space under the seat is very small. Maybe utilizing the second seat for bags etc. Can somebody confirm storage capacity?

I don't feel that the storage space was too small for stuff when we rented a city mini the last time... Certainly not worth the added cost of renting a double. (Not to mention traveling on the bus with a double.)

You could buy some "Mommy Hooks" and hang stuff on the handles, or if you're purchasing stuff you could have it sent back to your room.
