We are traveling with two 8 year olds...trying to get a full day in at Epcot. One of them tires easily from walking so we are thinking about renting a double stroller at the park.
(Not interested in an offsite rental and we don't have one to bring)

I read the "suggested" weight max is 100 pounds...if we are at that, are the strollers still pretty easy to push or is it going to be a struggle? I've seen some pretty big kids in there :teeth:...will two 8 years olds fit in a double comfortably?

Just a trying to weigh the pros and cons.

Thanks!!

How big are your 8-yr-olds? That will determine how "comfortable" it will be if both are in the stroller. I honestly can't imagine much comfort with 2 squished in there, but kids adapt fairly well and they may not mind the close quarters. To push best, each would need to be under 50 lbs which fairly evenly distributes the weight. If one is considerably heavier than the other, it may be harder to push. Also, the closer you get to the max weight the harder to push. Maybe they'll be willing to swap who rides and who walks?

Enjoy your vacation!

Thanks! One is definitely bigger than the other. That might make it harder to push. We just have to decide if the hassle of pushing them around is worth not hearing them whine about walking! LOL
We do the parks a lot and mine is a good walker so I know how liberating it is not to have a stroller...the other little girl won't last long I'm afraid and that will make it hard on everyone.

Anyway, thanks again!

unless both are on the small side I am guessing fitting 2 might be hard. might end up with 2 singles instead of a double
